Author's Note

I would have published this sooner, but it took longer than expected to write. This is like, 2400 words. I'm too lazy to edit it so, there's probably quite a few spelling and grammatical errors.
Also, the picture above is what Alex's suit looks like. (not my art)

Alex's POV

The bell rang, signalling the end of the period. I grabbed my backpack from its spot on the floor, under the desk.

"Those of you who have P.E., Mr. Paine is expecting you at the stadium. The rest of you can head over to the library." Miss Dandridge called out over the noise.

As I was walking towards the doorway with Peggy, I heard a shout from behind me. "John!" I spun around and saw Aaron staring daggers at John André. That surprised me, Aaron Burr was known to be the shy kid™. He seemed intimating but we all knew he would never hurt a fly.

Miss Dandridge looks up from her computer, I could tell she was also surprised by Aaron's sudden outburst. "Aaron, what is going on?"

"It's John! I'm so gonna get..." I have never seen Aaron like this before, what had John done?

"Aaron, go to the principal's office." Miss Dandridge interrupted before Aaron could continue. He shot John one more glare before stalking out if the room.

Whoa, what just happened? I turned back to Peggy. "So... Library or Gym?" Peggy glanced at her phone and I noticed she had made her timetable, her lock screen. Smart.

"Library." She smiled and I smiled back. We starting slowly making our way towards to library, people everywhere. It was chaos. Ahead of us, a curly bun could be seen to the crowds. I adjusted my backpack before bringing my hands to my mouth.

"Lafayette!" he spun around, his eyes falling on me. Immediately he broke out in a grin. He stopped, waiting for us to catch up.

"Lafayette, this is Peggy" she smiled at him. "Peggy, this is Lafayette" he gave her a goofy grin. "Laf has been my friend basically forever."

"Oui, especially since..." he trailed off. I knew why. The thing that made us best friends wasn't exactly cheery. I locked eyes with Lafayette, shaking my head slightly. He understood, probably because he was thinking the exact same thing.

"So Peggy... Got any family?" I ask, wincing at my own words. We walked into the library, still listening to Peggy talking about her younger sisters, Cornelia and Catherine, and her older brother, Philip.

Hawkmoth's POV

I watched over Paris, waiting for the perfect opportunity. The custom made window opened, the sound of gear twisting and turning and the glass shifted.

Finally it came.

"Negative emotions. This is perfect. Just what I need. Anger, sadness... Burn a hole into his heart, my horrible akuma."

I held out my hand and watched a pure white butterfly flutter onto my palm. Magic flowed through my veins and soon, it's wings were black as night.

"Fly away, my little akuma, and evilize him!"

I watched to akuma fly off into Paris. After all this time, my plan was finally in motion.

Aaron's POV

I stomped down the hallway, pushing past everyone in my way. I clenched a ball of paper in my fist. I'm going to kill John. All I need is a gun...
