Alex's POV

This is not how I imagined my day going. Of all the people in Paris, why me? Does the universe hate me? There is 2.244 million people in Paris. Yet here I am, stuck with him.

I unravel my yo-yo. I graceful land on my feet while he crashes head first into the ground. I hit him on the head with my yo-yo because why the fuck not. "I thought cats always landed on their feet".

He glared at me as he stood up. "What the hell was that for?"

"Nothing," I matched his glare. We stood there for a few seconds, just glaring at each other. "So, I'm guessing your my partner?" I didn't even try to mask the displeasure in my voice.

"Unfortunately, ye-" he was cut off by the ground trembling and a building falling in the distance.

"Well duty calls," I grab my yo-yo and threw it. I land on a roof and start running toward the building that fell. Cat boy appeared beside me. "I bet I can defeat the akuma before you." "You're on."

Nobody's POV

Stoneheart appears from nowhere, landing on the ground with a thud. His glowing yellow eyes looked around before finding his target. "JOHNNNNNN!!"

John André looked back in terror, his eyes widening as he saw the giant stone beast. It a moment of panic, he started running. In his rush, he failed to notice a rock the size of his fist. He slipped and tumbled down towards the ground.

He glances back at the monster. Suddenly, someone dressed all in black appeared. "Hey, it's not nice to pick up people who are smaller than you."

Stoneheart looked away from John, who took the opportunity to run as far away as possible. "I guess you're talking about yourself."

Hawkmoth's POV

"Everything's going to plan. Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculous have been activated. Here they come to save the day, and now my supervillain will destroy them."

Alex's POV

I'm finally getting the hang of this whole superhero thing. I land just as the black cat hits Stoneheart with his baton.

The idiot. Didn't he know Stoneheart grew bigger and stronger every time he's hit?

I study Stoneheart for a moment. Tikki said I had to find the akuma and destroy the object it's hiding in. But Stoneheart is completely made out of stone...

I'm distracted from my thoughts as Stoneheart grabs a soccer net and throws it in the air. It's heading alarmingly fast towards Peggy, who is standing on the side of the field. She's videoing this goddamn thing.

"What are you waiting for, super red bug? The world is watching you!" Peggy, I'm going to kill you.

The cat came out of nowhere and grabbed the net midair. He threw it off to the side so it wouldn't hurt anyone. As he walked over to Peggy to see if she was as alright, I couldn't help be impressed. It was like, ninja skills or something.
