Mateo has been alone his entire life. One day he meets the "crane girl" and everything changes, but good things can't last forever...

The idea of the "crane girl" in this story is based off of one of my best friends. She would fold thousands of cranes a day and place them around the school for people to find as a sign of good luck and hope. One day she had to move across the country and I realized how important these small paper cranes were and learned to fold them myself. Now I place them around the school as the new "crane girl"
