The idea of the "crane girl" in this story is based off of one of my best friends. She would fold thousands of cranes a day and place them around the school for people to find as a sign of good luck and hope. One day she had to move across the country and I realized how important these small paper cranes were and learned to fold them myself. Now I place them around the school as the new "crane girl"
Below are some pictures of her cranes
An average sized crane on my pinky finger
The smallest crane she made (also on my pinky)
Just a pile of cranes
I'm thinking of doing some crane related contests so be on the lookout for that.

I'll probably change up which one I use, but they're all from the same person
