What could possibly happen if you got yourself drunk?

Worst things could actually occur,  imagine having my first kiss with a unknown stranger in a FREAKING bar and not just that I practically drool over him which was something I least expected. Nobody could have guess that a living adonis still exist in this world, other than that he nearly stir my raging womanhood which was scaring me.

Don't get me wrong but men are predators that can eat you alive if your not careful. Their basically a walking cherry popper machine, me being a virgin has got to keep my hormones in check.

Girls have to be prepared in every way cause we don't know when these predators will appear and stike. I mean, experience women would always tell people how men could bring them to a heavenly place but naaahhh!!  I have no plans in letting anyone slither into my pants.

I swore loyalty to myself that I would never ever let any guy creep into my  heart. And what happened last night was a mere mistake that cannot be repeated. Its not like I would see him again, right?

Waking up in the morning with a hangover as an aftermath of drinking liquor is not something that you could be proud off. Come on,  nobody wants to open there eyes and be greeted with a pounding headache. Standing infront of a mirror, I was shock to see how my make-up and lipstick smudge my face making me look more like a walking zombie.

If anyone would catch me in this state then they would probably scream bloody murder, after all I seem to appear more like a living corpse than a human being.

I just felt so wasted and an utter mess.
Ignoring the tiredness of my body,  I made my way through the office to meet a new client of mine. Time check, its 8:05 AM and I was somewhat running late. Driving past the speed limit, I arrive at the office at  exactly 8:15 which means that I was fifteen minutes late.

Life was indeed a race and the only thing that you could do is to move your two feet even if your wearing some killer heels.

"Janine did the client arrive already?" I asked in a panting voice.

"Good news Miss, he's still not here."  I sighed in relief knowing that I came early before the client did. "Rest assure that I would inform you directly if ever the client will show up," Janine said in a calm way.

"Yes, please. Thank you so much, Janine." I told her and then entered my office as I review the proposal for the room design.

Rules on being an interior designer includes that you should always be the first one to arrive rather than the client itself or else a billion dollar contract could be lost in just a snap."Time is gold" as they would say and every ticking of the clock leads a pressuring battle on your part.

Remember that you should always know your boundaries and limits as a professional worker in your field. A knock on the door disrupted me from my thoughts.

"Come in," I yelled.

Janine entered, "The client has arrived Miss and he seeks for your presence."

"Bring him in, please" I said while composing myself to create a good impression towards the client.

The sound of approaching footsteps echoed through the tiled floor. The creaking noise of the door opening could be heard as the nervousness crawled into me. Finally, a tall man emerge and slowly my eyes widen with surprise as recognizing who he was.

No way! It can't be him, from all the people why him?

He seem to recognize me too as his jaw drop but was quickly replace with a smirk illuminating his white teeth. There was a glint of mischief written along his stares and it send chills through my spine.

"Mi amore," he said in a husky voice making my knees buckle with anxiousness. He filled the space between us making me smell his manly scent, he lean in whispering something I can't understand. "Estás preciosa."

"Esta --- what? Are you bad-mouthing me?" I exclaimed.

He chorled, "Pardon me, estás preciosa, frankly means 'you look beautiful' in español."

I nodded in a full understanding. "Oh!  I see," I told him as to make things clear.

"Aren't you going to ask me what 'mi amore' means?" he ask in a hush tone.
I choose to ignore his question, knowing 'mi amore' is an endearment for my love. "It's okay, you don't have to tell me," I said making him pout.

Goodness gracious he is such a cutie and his spanish accent is really a huge turn on. Wait a minute! What am I even thinking, this is so not me. It's all his fault that I'm becoming a pervert, damn that handsome face.

My forehead crease, "Excuse me but may I know who you are, Mr?" I ask, pretending that I didn't know him and that his presence doesn't bother me. "It seems that your mistaking me from someone".

He look at me intently and I made sure to avoid his eye contact. Seconds later he spoke,  "My bad,  I thought you were that girl  who I met last night at a bar."

"Its okay we do commit mistakes sometimes," I uttered. Oh right I haven't introduce myself yet,  "By the way I'm Venice Elysia Argon and I'm assign to look after the designs".

He extended his hand,  "Thiago Martinez, nice to meet you Venice". I took his hand,  shaking it as if forming an alliance.

"Take a seat Mr. Martinez". I gestured towards the coach and without further arguement he sat down comfortably.

"Mr. Martinez is too formal, Mi amore", he stated. "Call me Thiago, afterall we've already formed a connection".

I laughed awkwardly, "Of course, Thiago". He let out a triumph smile making my heart thump in an abnormal pace.

"Ummm,  can I see the designs for my condominium?" Thiago asked in a gentle manner.

"Yeah sure". Feeling embarrass at my behavior, I hastily handed him the proposal for his condominium. Seeing how serious he is while he scan through the pages, I immediately offered a short silent prayer wishing that he won't be dissapointed about it.

Every seconds that pass by felt like hours and it was so nerve-wracking on my part. I was interrupted from my reverie when Thiago place down the proposal sheets, he faced me and poked my cheeks.

What's happening... I thought.

My confuse state was then answered by what Thiago said,  "I like the concept, it's quite refreshing and unique you did a great job."

Unable to contain myself from the extreme happiness I felt,  I stood up and hug Thiago causing him to froze on his spot. Realizing what I just did, I instantly detach myself away from him. "Thank you for this opportunity, expect that we would do our very best to ensure that everything will work perfectly well." I muttered.

Thiago smiled at my silliness, "I better get going,  I still have work to do." I accompanied him towards the door but stopped abruptly like he forgot something. "Let's meet tomorrow morning at 8,  I want to point out some changes regarding its placement. Is that okay with you Ms. Argon?"

"I'm fine with it but where would we meet up tomorrow?" I asked.

"At the Vanilla Bean Café. See you there,  mi amore," he responded and surprised me with a wink before rushing to the exit. I blinked for a couple of times trying to process what he just did. I fought a blush that's slowly resurfacing on my cheeks. This is crazy, never in my entire existence did I ever had a mix of emotions. Indeed I'm a coward who can't admit that something is beginning to unfold.
