If a guy makes an effort to woo a woman then he is indeed serious in making her a part of his life. But truth be told that not all men who uses sweet words and gestures are dead serious in making them his girl.

Some are casanovas who bait girls just to warm their beds every night or perhaps a night. The question is how do you really know if that guy is serious or not?

That's for you to find out and see for yourself firsthand. Well, who knows what's going on in their minds after all men are quite secretive at times.

Work, work, work!! That's how my life usually revolves but a lot of things have change. Yesterday, a client of mine and the guy in the bar whom I met were actually the same person. He even admitted that he likes me, which was a shock to me.

I'm not even sure if its even real or simply an attraction he had felt. I mean I've heard of that line a million times in books, movies and I am doubting if it's true. 

Last night, I hardly slept a wink because Thiago's words keep on replaying on my mind. As a result, my head has been paining me and my eyes are droopy but still I went to work as to set a good example to my colleagues.

Stack of files welcomed me as I get into my office which where gathered in my table and I can't help but be frustrated with it.

"Miss, a delivery came by and it's addressed to you," Janine spoke. I didn't even felt her presence or the noise of the door opening.

"Oh! Kindly bring it in my office, please. Thank you." She nodded before walking out.

A delivery? I wasn't expecting a package. Now, who might be this person who would send me something... Is it from him?

Minutes later, Janine entered with a bouquet of red roses. Wait, flowers? Janine handed it to me and I gladly took it.

"Umm, Janine. Are you sure that it's for me?  Maybe they delivered it to the wrong person."

Janine laughed which made me raise my eyebrows. "Certainly its for you Miss. It has your name on it, I am sure that it wasn't a mistake. If you'll excuse me I'll go back to my work now, Miss."

Indeed there was a card with my name on it.

She went back to her own work as I was left puzzled. The roses smelled so good and fresh like it was recently pluck out. It was beautiful and I'm very thankful to the person who gave these to me. While I was admiring the roses, I notice another note tuck in between.

Intrigued by the note, I pick it up then read what it says. My eyes widen in disbelief as my heart was beating in an abnormal rate.

Mi amor,

Hope you like the roses I sent. This is my peace offering for what happen yesterday. Lo siento, do forgive me for acting like a total jerk.  Know that I mean what I said, I truly like you and I would gladly show you that I'm serious in making you mine.

I can't believe that his actually saying sorry when I know that it was my fault that I acted like a total brat. A warm emotion surge into my heart, so this is what it feels like when a guy makes a cheesy surprise for a girl.

Setting aside the flowers, I went back to work feeling so energized and inspired. I'm planning on putting those roses in a vase and then display it in my room.

Concentrating on a ceratain project proposal, a sudden phone call snap me back from reality. I quickly answered it without knowing who it was.

"Hello? May I know who am I speaking to?" I questioned but nobody spoke. I look at my screen and found it to be an unknown caller. "Hello?" I ask again but the person on the other line has already ended it.
