1) Dip fingers in warm water and soak for ten minutes or until water gets cold.
2) DONT CIT CUTICLES. THAT CAN CAUSE A TRIP TO THE DOCTOR. Instead, used a cuticle pusher, and push cuticle back
3) Apply a cuticle cream. My personal favorite is Rosebud Salve. If you dont have it, then used Vaseline.
4) Use a base coat that hardens nails. Then apply vaseline around the nail.
5) Paint your nails. Its ok if it gets outside the nail.
6) Apply top coat
7) Remove the vaseline and it should take away any nail polish that was outside the nail.
8) Wait to dry. You can always use the Sally Hansen Quick Dry Top Coat.
9) When its "dry", and you accidently smudge it, quickly lick your nail until it is smooth. Then apply Top Coat.
