Jaxen's Point of View
                                    October 13th

I left a note on the table, I'm leaving for America. Giovanni De Víí rests on his pull out sofa, sleeping with his wife. Probably dreaming of her or food. I step out very quietly. I quietly close the door. I walk towards the main road, kept walking for miles. I put my thumb up to hitchhike for a ride to the airport station. A few hours later, I got a ride. I arrived at the airport station. I know where place exactly to go.

Ava's Point of View

"You meant to tell me now?!" I yell at John. "Where is she?" John looks so terrified. Poor John. "It just clicks to me a few minutes and I did call you for that." John stammers. "Do you know where he lives?" I question him. "He told me he lives in Italy. Nothing more." He says, still recovering from my rage. "John, I still can't believe this," I say, still shaking. "Why haven't you told the police about this?"

"Because I can't," John replied. "He told me he works in a dangerous organization. I barely remember." Christ... I thought. "Did he threaten to kill you or something like this?" "What, no!" Ares might be lying. Or is he telling the truth? "I'm so sorry," John says, apologetic. "I never want to hurt you or Lana." "You meant to tell me. They are married? How the fuck?" I say, anxious to know everything. "Language, please." He shot a glare at me. "Ares told me they were married before he took her back home to Italy." "There is something you are not telling me," I say, missing something in what he is saying to me. "I know it."

"He is absolutely absolved of his crimes when he is in Italy." What? I thought. "Did you absolved him?" I ask, my anger is coming back. "No." He says, flatly. "I wouldn't even do it." I stare down at him. "Jesus," I say, trying to make sure of everything I had heard is right. "I'm so sorry." He says, rubbing his head. "It's okay," I say, too tired. I pick up my steaming cup of coffee to drink. Ahhh, so good. I thought. Hazelnut creamer is so good to the coffee. "Are you staying over?" John asks me, he is still hoping that I can stay. "Yes, I am." I took a huge gulp of the coffee. "Only for one day." "Good, I get to keep you for one day." He smiles that heartbreaking smile again, the one that got me smiling.

                                Ares's Point of View

I lie right next to her, watching her sleep. She is so beautiful, no burdens nor painful memories on her shoulders. Just her sleeping peacefully with me. I'm waiting for her to wake up.

So I got up from the bed, I stride to the bathroom to handle my business, then I walk to the kitchen. "Jesus Christ!" I yell out at the sight of Giovanni De Víí sitting down at the table reading a newspaper, in his other hand, a freshly made coffee. "What are you doing here?" "Jaxen left." He holds up a note. "He left us." "What?" I am in shock. Jaxen left us? That means he would be hunted by The Black Vendetta. Shit. I thought.

"Ares?" Lana came out in my black t-shirt and her panties out of the hallway. But then, she saw Giovanni. "Oh." She pulls down my large t-shirt to cover herself. "Hi, " Giovanni says, lightly teasing her. I roll my eyes at him. "Eep!" She blushes furiously and runs back to her room.

"She is still cute." Giovanni laughed at her. "I should kidnap her first. But then, I wouldn't meet my beautiful wife, Adele." He got up from his chair. He walks to the counter and serves himself coffee. "What is going to happen to Jaxen?" I ask the main question. I stare at him drinking his coffee. After he set it down on the counter. "I'm thinking." He is always thinking of any possible situations that could get us out in a rut.

True that he is older than us, he should be a leader instead of me. But he absolutely insisted that I am more of a leader than him. I don't see that. "I got absolutely nothing. We should cover for Jaxen for a few days. I know he got his phone on him, he probably just won't answer." "Okay," I say, more nervous for Jaxen. My little brother.

Lana comes out in the hallway, still wearing my t-shirt, but I can see she is wearing a bra underneath my shirt, black skinny jeans. No make up but he hair is glorious and long. She is so fucking more beautiful than before. "Hi again." She says, blushing and stammering. "Hi," Giovanni says, smirking.
