Joseph was surprised at what he was seeing. The floor boards were covered with the same symbol that was on his hand. Then he turned to his parents. "What are you" asked Joseph who was now filled with fear. But, when Joseph turned he also saw his parents hands glowing with the same symbol that was on his hand. The all of a sudden a strange gold beam came out of Joseph and his parents hands. Then as soon as it started it ended. Joseph was now looking at his parents in fear.
They were looking back at him smirking. "Now we must tell you what happened Joseph" said Joseph's mother who was smiling. "No I don't want to know" Joseph then ran down the steps leading out of the attic then shut and locked the door behind him.
He could hear his parents behind him trying to unlock the door. Joseph then quickly got his checkered black and white jacket and graves a back and packed it with food and water. Then he ran into his garage opened the door and got on his bike then rode down the street. He knew no one would help him so he just kept riding until night.
