This sweet smelling skunk never raises a stink! You won't have to hold your nose around this friendly creature.
Petunia is an indigo and dark-blue skunk with a sky-blue arrow marking on her forehead, which is connected to the triangle-shaped marking on the back of her head and sky-blue lines on her long tail. She always wears a flower on top of her head and deodorizer around her neck.
Her love interest is Handy but i've seen some episodes where she was flirting with others (hoe).
Petunia is often seen with Giggles. They appear to be best friends, as they run a lemonade stand together, play together, and exercise together. It seemed to me as if they could be childhood best friends. Anyways lets get to the origin I made up.

Ever since Petunia went to school, no kids ever wanted to play with her because she is a skunk. (racist)
She'd be left out of group activities and no one would ever talk to her. They just feared her but a few kids would often tease her or even throw mud at her face. This would hyperventilate her. Lets just say she has a bad case of OCD.
She has been always a sort of "neat freak" and wanted to please herself by organizing every little thing, including herself. She always wore deodorizer around her neck to smell good so she could make some friends. The first friend she ever got was a pink chipmunk named Giggles.
She too likes pretty stuff and keeping neat but not in a serious way like Petunia.

Petunia grew up in HTF town and has the most gruesome deaths of all the characters there. Seriously, in the episode "Wishy Washy" she literally skins herself so keep clean. Like go see a doctor for your OCD lady. Maybe she's like that because she's scared of what people would think of her like the kids at school did and lose her friends?
Fun Fact:
She used to be my favorite character in the show.
