taehyung fiddled with the hem of his t shirt as he yawned. he had expected to go out in the afternoon, getting disappointed and upset, and being woken up in the middle of the night, 3am in fact, because it was then that they were supposed to go for that double date.

taehyung, who had wasted all his energy waiting for jeongguk, was obviously tired and not in the mood, while jeongguk and his beaming eyes and energetic glow hovered above the older's sleeping figure.

taehyung snarled. jeongguk was smart, let taehyung waste energy waiting for him, then make him bail by going out at 3am.

but taehyung wouldn't let gguk win another time. he closed his tired and upset eyes before opening them, revealing bright and happy eyes that masked his smug glare.

jeongguk, obviously a little taken aback, wide eyed and frowning. he masked his expression and walked out to their living room.

taehyung chuckled as he pulled his clothes on and dragged himself out of his room. jeongguk stood up from his sitting position on the couch and fiddled with the car keys. "let's go then."

taehyung nodded curtly as the two tall men quietly left their dorm and locked the door behind them.

the drive there was both tense and silent, it wasnt a surprise that they both were horrible drivers, but with a game of rock paper scissors, it was ultimately decided that gguk would be the one to bring them to either their meetup spot, or heaven. hopefully the former and not the latter.

with jeongguk's wide eyes and tense position, his knuckles white as his grip on the wheel tightened.

taehyung tapped him on the shoulder as jeongguk screamed and braked immediately. jeongguk glared at a wide eyed taehyung, eyes filled with both shock and anger.

"oh my god can you not do that i am so scared that i might kill both of us on the road." jeongguk quietly muttered. "im sorry, i just wanted to ask when we were getting back?" taehyung asked.

"seriously-you actual- you know what it's fine, uhh somewhere around 5-ish?" jeongguk rubbed his temple as taehyung crouched back quietly into his seat, hands on his lap as they resumed on the road.

finally reaching after jeongguk decided to drive 20 under the speed limit, they met up with an impatient sooyoung and fidgety yerim.

jeongguk's anger and tired pallor dissipated the second he saw the small girl, quietly running up to her, his smile instantly widened as he hooked an arm around her neck, playfully driving her in a headlock and rubbing her head.

yerim squealed as he let go and she started stabbing his stomach with her fingers, both of them brightly laughing at their foolish banter, finishing with jeongguk picking the girl up and connecting their lips to one another for a brief moment before he let her feet back on the ground and engulfed her in a bear hug.

from a distance, he heard their murmurs of "i missed you", "you got fat" and their bright squeals of laughter.

smiling at the young couple's innocent love, his attention fully placed on them as- "hey." sooyoung lazily chimed as taehyung yelped at the sudden voice. sooyoung giggled as she scanned his face. he didnt bother getting dressed but still managed to look like a runway model, his eyes wide and tense posture indicated that he was incredibly tired.

"park sooyoung." sooyoung introduced as she brought her hand out towards him. " i didn't know we were on a first name basis. kim taehyung." taehyung smiled wryly as he clasped his hand with hers.

"you're older than me right?" sooyoung asked as she quickly removed her hand and stuck them in her hoodie's pockets. "hmm i guess so. 95 liner." taehyung mumbled. "ohhh ok then. you're the same age as sungjae oppa. should i call you oppa?" sooyoung asked as taehyung raised his eyebrows.

"ok then taehyung oppa. lets break up the lovebirds because i need meat in my system immediately." sooyoung chimed as she walked away from the man, grabbing the younger girl's arm as she dragged her to the bbq shop, with yerim wailing "why? woah woah woah what?" slowly fading as the bell of the shop tinged.

jeongguk raised an eyebrow in confusion but chuckled anyhow. taehyung jogged up to the boy as he put an arm around the younger's shoulder. "let's go then." taehyung mumbled as they walked into the shop.

"ahjumma, 4 bottles of soju and 2 cans of beer please!" yerim called as jeongguk skillfully grilled the pieces of pork, chicken and beef.

sooyoung gazed at the meat, gnawing on her bottom lip as she glanced at taehyung.

"hey oppa." she mumbled as taehyung flicked his attention to her. "since the lovebirds are bantering, let's get to know each other. taehyung smiled as he initiated what he called the "social butterfly taehyung makes friends" operation.

talking the night away, the two older idols got to know each other, sooyoung's face blushing occasionally at his chic and chivalrous ways.

jeongguk apparently had to go to the bathroom to "powder his nose", and yerim supposedly had to take a phone call from a phone that didn't ring, so they both stepped out, leaving the pair.

"so sooyoung, did you have fun?" taehyung asked as he leaned closer to the girl. "hmm? well, there was meat. so yea." sooyoung mumbled, avoiding his gaze.

"you, really remind me of someone." taehyung mumbled. sooyoung leaned back as she chuckled nervously.

"oppa, you drunk?" she asked as he stopped. "yea." he mumbled as he sat back and let out a sigh. the door of the small shop opened as the bell ringed.

"hey oppa, unnie, let's go. manager oppa's here." yerim called with a slight disappointment in her tone.

"mm." sooyoung hummed as she stood up, bid taehyung farewell and quickly walked to her ride.

taehyung entered the car with jeongguk tense. "hey hyung, gimme a minute." jeongguk called as he unlocked the car door and raced out, jogging towards his girlfriend.

"yah yerim ah." jeongguk called as she turned around from her manager's car and dragged her feet towards him. "yerim." he called as his lips tugged upwards. "hmm?" she sadly mumbled, avoiding his gaze.

jeongguk tsked, his thumb grazed her cheek as he tilted her gaze towards him. "i'll see you soon yea?" he asked as she smiled sadly and nodded. "i know this is cheesy but i really love you." yerim mumbled as jeongguk engulfed her into another hug. she held on another second before letting go.

"cmon rim. im not gonna die or anything. i'll call you okay?" his sad eyes gazed at hers. "but you're gonna go on tour. do you think you'll be able to attend events here?" rim pouted as he chuckled. "i'll try my best, everything in my power. okay?" he asked as she nodded and he pecked her forehead.

"now get out of my face." yerim joked as he chuckled and waved goodbye, joining taehyung in the car.

"you like her alot." taehyung raised an eyebrow before relaxing on the cushion of the car seat.

"no, i don't. i love her. and i already miss her." jeongguk's voice cracked as he sat there, tears grazing his cheeks as he watched her manager's car pull out and drive away.

"lets go. buckle your seatbelt." jeongguk mumbled as he sniffled and started the engine.

his words left taehyung thinking. jeongguk loved yerim so much, and when he thought of someone; the yerim to his jeongguk, all he could think of was his bunny, the girl he couldn't wait to call when he got home, and her melodious laughter.
