**Amaya's POV**
"Amaya!" My foster mother screamed at me, "Are you coming or not?!"
"What?" I asked, then realized what she was talking about, "Yeah, just give me a second!"
"The train is leaving soon!" She yelled from the kitchen.
"Amaaaaaaaaaaaaaya~" My best friend and foster sister, Akane, walked into the room, "Hurry up, you triangular squirrel!!!"
"I still don't understand where you come up with these kinds of things, Akane," I sighed, laughing.
"You love me," Akane shoved my arm, "Even if I'm the craziest girl you've ever seen in your entire purple flavored raccoon life~."
I just sighed again, and walked away with my dark blue suitcase in tow.
"Lets go lets go lets go lets goooo~!!!!!" Akane squealed, and grabbed her own suitcase and ran out the door.
"Geez, I can't get that girl to sit still!" Our foster mother laughed.
"Don't even try," I rolled my eyes, a little hostile.
"Mother" gave me a quick annoyed look before saying, "I still don't understand why you won't open up to us. You've been in our family since you were nine."
"I don't trust you," I replied plainly, before chasing Akane while saying, "Wait up!"
*~+~*
"Woah," Akane looked around her with wide eyes, "This place is bigger than stuff in Texas....."
"Meh," I shrugged my shoulders like I didn't care, "It's alright." While on the inside, I was amazed-- The school was huge!
It was very regal-looking, with its tan-ish gray-ish brick walls building up to a slanted roof that had a large clock stationed at the top. It had pointed gothic-style windows and archways that emphasized it's likeness to a castle.
'It's so beautiful... How on earth did we manage to get scholorships to this kind of place?!' I asked myself.
"Well, you're going to be staying here for awhle, so please get used to it," "Mother" sighed, giving me a quick glare, "I don't understand why you don't just appreciate what you have."
"How do you know I don't?" I replied emotionlessly, and turned away from her.
"Ne, Amaya! Let's go find our room!!! I bet it'll be as pretty as everything else here!" Akane bounced on her heels, and started running towards the direction of the school.
"Alright," I ran after her, dragging my suitcase behind me, "Do you even know the room number?!'
"Nope!" She laughed, "I bet the office has some sort of idea though!"
"Baka," I shook my head with a grin on my face, "You're a lost cause... Let's head to the office then."
"Yup~!" Akane giggled, and sprinted into the school.
I stopped just short of the building. I wasn't sure why, until my head felt like it was exploding. The memory from when I was eight blew up in my mind-- My parents on the ground, the blood surrounding them, the killer's face..... everything.
But this time.... I could remember who the killer looked like.
'Was that...... my--' I started to ask myself, before another round of pain stabbed my head... and suddenly.....
The memory was gone. I couldn't remember the person's face anymore.
"Huh?" I searched my memory desperately, "No no no no! I was so close!"
