There's this guy, he's my neighbour in England. His house was right in front of mine and our parents were close friends. His name is Luke, he is tall with dreamy brown eyes and dark brown hair.
He is my childhood best friend and he is also 3 years older than me. I lived 9 years of my life in England, and I spent most of those nine years goofing around with him.
When we were small he told me that he will marry me someday, I laugh about the stuff we used to do. We were so close nobody could ruin our friendship.
When I was 7 , Luke's parents died in a car accident. From that incident on Luke became depressed. I used to always try and comfort him because I didn't like seeing him sad. When both of his parents died his grandmother took care of him and his older brother James. She's a very kind hearted women, and a religious one too. She always taught us to be thankful for the good and bad in our lives, because other people might have it worse.
I started to have a crush on him, and I had a feeling that he liked me too. Unfortunately we had to move, my dad got a good job in America so we moved there.
On the day of our departure, Luke hugged me so tight I felt like I was getting squeezed but I liked it, it felt special, and definitely a moment to remember. I Hugged him back and told him not forget me.
I didn't want to leave, I was too attached to him, as cheesy as it sounds, he was the reason for my happiness. I lost a few family members at a young age, he was the only one who made me forget about the pain of not having those people around in my life anymore.
He was the one that I was never going to forget.
