Thank you for reading my short story! I very much appreciate it and I hope you have enjoyed it!

I got this idea when I was watching the Originals but it wasn't because of the story line. I just thought: Hey, what if someone is dying and Kol (or anyone else from the Originals. I wasn't that far with planning, yet) won't accept her fate and goes searching for a cure but fails so he has to watch her die and then eventually finds a way to bring her back.

I wanted to make Klaus the big baddie in the story because he is the big, even though misunderstood, baddie in the tv-show. And I couldn't let him be the boyfriend because he literally has the cure in his veins or has the power to actually get shit done. Kol doesn't really have that power so tada, I got my story.

If someone else has this kind of story then that's coincidental and not on purpose because I haven't read any kind of story like this so I don't know of the existence of them.. (If that makes sense.)

If you people would like a sequel then let me know. I will make it a different short story of them coming after Klaus. Yes, something needs to happen again in order for them to do so and I will think of such a thing! (:
