Sitting on the sofa, Shae finally submitted her test. Waiting for a few seconds, her score soon popped up. 85%. Sha'la sighed in relief , "Thank God"

She did good on the test since she didn't study. It was a Sunday evening, and Terrence was out working shifts with Re'Nae and his co-worker Dustin. Bored , Shae finally decided to take her test to get it over with. It had to be due by next Friday, but because she didn't want to do it at the last minute, she decided to do it now.

Lounging on the sofa in sweats, her phone soon vibrates.

Sha'la gasped, and covered her mouth. She totally forgotten about the performance. She quickly saved his number in her phone , and text him back.

Shae✨: Oh my gosh. Vontrell I'm so sorry. I forgot. I was so caught up with other things.

Vonnie✊: You good. But don't sweat it. The performance was good tho.

Shae✨: Was it? I wish I was there.

Vonnie✊:Yeaa, it was turnt. And don't worry you'll have to make it up 2 me. Since you had a brutha hopes up.

Shae✨: And how ima do that?

Vonnie✊:Lets go for a walk at the sunset park. I heard alot of good things about it.

Shae✨: I don't know Vonnie. It's pretty late , and my fiancee would be home soon.

Vonnie✊: Oh it's cool then... Alright.

Guilt soon came over her body. She misses out on his performance then she just turned him down for a simple walk at the park.

Truth be told, Terrence wasn't coming home no time soon. He gets off work at eleven, and it's only six p.m. Sha'la just didn't want to go out with Vontrell. Though he didn't say it was a date, she could'nt help but feel like it was.

Hours went by, and Vontrell and Sha'la haven't talk since earlier. Laid out on the bed, Sha'la watched Love&Basketball on Netflix. She lifts up her phone, and pressed her lock button, only to see the time.

8:35pm.

She sighed and shifts positions in her bed. "Ugh this is why I wish I had a job",she said to herself. She never been bored like this since she graduated from High school.

She then thought about all the parties she attended when she was attending college. Free drinks , good food. She had a good college year until she left to follow Terrence. She rolls her eyes once she thought about Terrence. The couple is on ok terms. They haven't talked about the last meeting they had with the counsler since last Monday.

Which made Terrence super happy. Sha'la could now get off his back, but Shae still hold onto what she learned. It seems like the more she thinks about Terrence kissing Sasha, the more she strays herself away from him.

Her thoughts soon went to Vontrell. "I wonder what he's doing", she thought. Having no friends to hang out with is a total bummer. Thinking about Vontrell made her think.I just pushed away new friend.

She gets up from the bed , and quickly searched Vontrell name in her messages. Once she finds it , she tapped on it, and began typing. Once she seen that her message was delivered, she went into her closet, and turned on the lights.

"What should I wear?",she asked her self. Her entire mood was slowly turning around. Her phone soon vibrates. It was Vontrell.

Vonnie✊: I'm glad that you can come. Meet me by the water fountain.I'll be there in 10 mins.
