Pink.
Everything was pink. The walls were pink with multiple watercolor paintings on them. A grand lantern with stars took up the corner of the room. It gave off a lighter shade of pink than the walls along with a friendly vibe. (A/N: lantern not in photo)
Bright, pink lights surrounded each watercolor painting, almost hurting my eyes.I blinked and stood still for a moment.
"Which painting do you find prettiest? "
I stiffened at the sudden voice behind me, contemplating whether or I should turn around or not. I decide the latter, turning around to see,
A goddess?
She sat on a white chair placed beside a gray table, as not to be obscured by it. She leaned forward, her hands supporting her head with her elbows on her knees. She had a bright smile on for me, looking like in just a moment, she would break down in laughter.
"Silly. I'm no goddess, but thank you."
Is she sure about that? She looks like real life Allura! And her voice sounds so...well, alluring
She chuckled, tucked some stray hair behind her ear, and put her arms down onto her lap.
It occured to me that I haven't spoken a word.
Trying to find my voice, I ask,
"Hang on, you can hear me? Like, here my thoughts?"She hummed,
"Kinda..sorta? Mostly, but not really.""Huh?" I felt my nose wrinkle in confusion.
"C'mere. You can take a seat if you wanna, we might be a while."
I didn't move.
She smiled reassuringly, sincerity evident in her eyes. "I won't hurt you, I promise. I'm here to tell you about important things."
Hundreds of thousands of thoughts raced through my head, the most prominent being; What if the important thing is me dying right now?
I fumbled with my fingers, trying to control my breathing.
