The elevator slowly went up and up until I reached ground level. The doors opened and I stepped out, I walked down the hallway and to the door. Before I left I looked back and grinned, I had fun tonight.. the most I've had since it was little and got to play with Lizzy and Mike (Elizabeth and Micheal). I opened the door and breathed in a fresh air of the morning. There were many cars driving around 'going to work' I thought to myself. I remembered that I got a ride from a couple and it was quite a walk from here to my house. I had gotten the number of that couple but I didn't want to disturb them if it wasn't an emergency.
Just then I got a text message from a number that wasn't familiar to me. 'Hey short stuff~ need a ride?' It read. I assumed it was Vincent because of the name he gave me , no one has ever really called me anything like that before so I was most likely correct with my guess. 'Human Grape?' I sent back, it didn't take long to get a reply 'Little puppy?' Yup. That's Vincent. ' I would love a ride, Vinny' I smiled at the nickname I gave him 'I'm on my way..' I giggled.
Once he arrived, he got out of the car and came up to me and hugged me really tight and mumbled something. I lead me to his car and opened the passenger door for me. I laughed and sat down. He got into the driver seat and I leaned over and kissed his cheek. I saw his face become pink and looked away as he started to drive off.
"Your folks called me, they told me that they are out for a couple days so they told me to tell you that you have two choices; you can be alone and scavenge for yourself or you can come and live with me for awhile" Vincent looked over to me and smiled as he said the last part. "I-I don't want to be alone but I couldn't ask you to give up your place for me" I looked back at him and smiled shyly. "Hun, I don't mind at all~ it will be nice to have some company" he said "only if your absolutely sure" "I'm 110% sure" he smiled wider "okay.. I'll live with you for the time being"
Vincent told me to call my parents and inform them that I would be staying with him.
My parents agreed and Vincent and I were now heading to my house to pack up some clothes. Once we got there, Vincent offered to help me. We both headed inside and up to my room I got out my suitcase and grabbed some clothes.
