Avi POVI woke up with a small headache, and the light flooding through the curtains into my eyes didn't help one bit. I burried my face in my pillow and groaned. I feel absolutly horrible! Better than yesterday, but still horrible.
"Babe? You awake?" I heard Kirstie's voice from the doorway.
I turned my head to face her.
"Yeah.." I groaned.
She came and sat on the edge of the bed.
"Awe, sweetie. Feeling any better?" She asked rubbing my shoulder.
"Yeah, a little actually. Better than last night." I smiled weakly.
"That's great to hear! We need to redo your bandage though. I know you're probably not up for it, but it needs to be done." She said.
"Yeah... You're right." I sighed and began to sit up.
"Let's do it in the bathroom, all the stuff is in there."
I slowly get up and make my way to the bathroom. I sit down on the toilet faceing the shower so Kirstie can get a good look at my back.
"You ready?" She asks.
"As I'll ever be."
She began to remove the bandage and it hurt like hell!
"It's looking a little better." She said hopeful.
"Really?" I asked shocked.
"Yeah, actually."
She began to put the ointment/pain killer gel stuff on and then bandaged it up with a new wrap. When she was done she slid her arms down my shoulders then down the top of my bare chest, careful not to hit my injury, and rested her head in my neck. Words can't describe how much I just wanted to pull her onto my lap and kiss her, but alas.... I can't get her sick.
"I wanna kiss you really bad.." She mumbled into my neck.
I chuckled and smiled widely.
She began to kiss my neck softly, seeing how she couldn't kiss me on the lips. I grabbed her hands and played with them as she continued to kiss my neck. She began to get more passionate as she started sucking and nipping slightly.
"Kirst." I chuckled and pulled away a little bit.
She giggled and burried her face in my shoulder.
"You're so cute." I said, pulling her onto my lap.
We stared at each other in awe for a minute. You know, those 'lovey dovey' eyes as people call it. I just can't help but get lost in her eyes, and after awhile of staring at her I was totally lost in her. We inched closer and closer and before I knew it our lips connected. I know it's only been about a day or so, but I missed the feeling of her lips on mine. I have my hands on her waist and trail them up her sides. When I moved them back down to her hips, I suddenly realized what I was doing. Kirstie tensed up and so did I as we jumped apart.
"I kissed you!!" We both said at the same time.
"Awwe man!.... I'm sorry babe... You're probably going to get sick now.." I hung my head low.
"It was partially my fault too, honey. It's okay, I don't mind. I think you just have a little cold, I get those all the time. Now we can sit in bed and cuddle all day!" She laughed.
"Being sick never sounded so good." I smiled and leaned in to kiss her once more.
"We should see what everybody's up to." She laughed and got up, walking out the door.
I walked back to the room to throw a shirt on and followed her and we made our way down to the living room.
"Hey guys!" Everyone greeted us.
"Hey!" Kirstie smiled, and I just waved.
"Feeling any better, Avi?" Ryan asked.
"Yeah, actually. I still feel a little achy and I have a stuffy nose now, but other than that." I said and held two thumbs up.
"Sounds like it's just a minor cold. I'm happy you didn't get the flu! How's your back doing?"
"Pretty good! Kirstie changed the bandaging this morning and said it was looking better."
"Awesome! You'll be healed in no time!" He smiled.
"LUNCH IS READY!!" Esther screamed from the kitchen.
"That's our cue!" Ryan laughed.
I laughed and got up to meet everyone in the kitchen. Kirstie was leaned against the island talking to Esther, unaware I had walked in. I walked up behind her and wrapped my arms around her waist and kissed her neck.
"Get a room." Mitch said, disgusted.
Scott and Kevin laughed and I looked up and smiled as Kirstie giggled.
"Hey! Watch out kid, you'll get her sick!" Esther said, swatting me away.
Me and Kirstie looked at each other and giggled.
"Eeehhhh.... Yeaaahh, it's a little too late to take that precaution."
"You two made out didn't you?" Mitch piped from across the kitchen where he was making his sandwhich.
"Hey! You hush!" Kirstie laughed. "And no, it was just a kiss or two."
"Or 37." Mitch mumbled and he and Scott giggled.
I shot them a glare and they turned back to making their sandwhiches, still trying to stiffle their laughter.
"So that's why you told me you didn't want to help with lunch. Smart girl." Esther nodded in approval.
Kirstie shrugged.
"I appreciate you trying not to get the whole group sick." She laughed as she began putting things away.
"You're wel-wel-ACHOO!"
"And the cold is setting in." Scott said, bopping her nose as he got a drink.
She shot a glare my way. I held up my hands in defense, and she ended up laughing. She walked over and wrapped her arms around my lower waist, trying not to put pressure on my wound.
"You better be a great cuddler, I think this is going to be a doozy." She mumbled into my chest.
I laughed and kissed the top of her head. We pulled apart and we grabbed our plates to go sit in the living room with everyone else.
