Introduction

(A/N: Just a disclaimer to say that the first chapter is showing the life of Charlene without the dinosaurs, and portraying what she had been up to while living this normal life. After that, they set off on their journey to Isla Nublar and that's where the Dino's come in. Enjoy the story.)

3 years later... Wow. It seems like yesterday since the end of Jurassic World.

Since then, life has just been normal and no matter how hard I try I can't get back into the routine of a normal life. It just doesn't suit me, or my Dad for that matter.

We'd moved to a completely new area, which isn't what I was used to at all. In fact, it was about an hours journey from where Claire lived and half an hour away from Zach and Gray.

We'd moved to a mountain side area, reclused from reality and we just enjoyed the nature around us. It was peaceful. I never liked it due to growing up on Isla Nublar, but I couldn't bare to part with my Dad.

I wasn't the only one who didn't like living like this, Claire also disaproved of being so isolated from humanity. That's why my Dad is now single. Which is absolutely fine with me because I knew Claire was never the one for him.

After my Dad and Claire spilt up she created a programme called the Dinosaur Protection Group for the remaining surviving Dinosaurs left on Isla Nublar. I thought about joining but decided to focus on college, studying Applied Sciences. It turned out to be a success and achieved Distinction* in all of my A levels.

From here on out though, I've never pursuded a career or went on to University due to wanting to be with my Dad and not leaving my life behind.

Oh... and I guess you're wondering about Zach and I. Well, we aren't together anymore. We didn't end on bad terms, he just went off to University to study and get a degree.

I'm so proud of him but we called it off because we knew the relationship would be a struggle. It would cause unnecessary stress that neither of us wanted nor needed.

But apart from that, life is great. Dad and I just chill now and ride it out together like he promised we would. No matter what.

We always talk about Blue and the other Raptors, we also look at pictures and videos of us with them even when they were hatchlings. We have a picture up on the wall in our camper van of Dad and I and all 4 Rapters.

In the picture I'm holding Echo and Dad's holding Blue. Delta and Charlie are play fighting in the middle of us both.

Our faces in the picture are priceless, I'm staring in awe at Echo, with her nose against mine. While Dad's laughing at the Raptors playing with Blue looking up at him in awe.

Looking at the picture always seemed to bring tears to my eyes.

It such a sweet picture and I always wonder if Blue would still remember us if we were to go back to Isla Nublar. Dad reckons she would because the bond we all had was unbreakable.

I guess we would find out one day, the one thing I didn't realise is that we would be seeing her again so soon...
