It was now around nighttime as Grayson was driving me back to the beach house. Honestly, today was rather fun in my opinion. I guess hanging out with Gray isn't so bad at all but it's gonna be hard trying to keep our relationship a secret especially from Ethan. I don't know what's worst dating your ex-boyfriend's twin brother or keeping a secret from your ex-boyfriend who you still have to see. As Grayson pulls into the driveway, I grab my belongings and unbuckled my seatbelt.
"I had fun today," I said facing Grayson.
"Me too," he responded.
He leaned in and gave me a peck on my lips. His lips felt soft but not as soft as Ethan's. Why am I still thinking of Ethan? Grayson stares at me with a questioning look on his face while I show a worried look somewhat.
"Anna, are you okay?" he asked.
"Yeah, sorry I'm just extremely tired" I lied being brought back to reality.
"It's okay. Get some rest tonight okay?".
I nodded in response as a mighty yawn came out of my mouth. Damn, I guess I am tired. Grayson chuckled just after I yawned and casually smiled.
"Goodnight Anna," he said.
"Goodnight Grayson," I said.
I opened the passenger door of his car and got out before walking inside of the house. Once I got in, I noticed Grace sitting comfortably on the couch with a blanket wrapped around her as she was in an old t-shirt and sweatpants. She finally notices me as she looks up at me with a smile on her face.
"Hey, how did it go?" she asked eagerly.
"It went well." I naturally responded.
"That's it. You're not gonna go full on detail about it?" she said.
"Nope. I'm just gonna go get ready for bed," I immediately said.
I jogged upstairs and entered into my room setting my stuff down on the floor as I begin to get ready for bed.
Grayson's POV
I pulled into the driveway of my house after dropping off Anna. I place the car into park and took the keys out of the ignition before getting out of my car and entering inside the house. I glimpse Ethan sitting on his couch with his phone in his hand before he looked up to see me.
"Oh, hey bro, where have you been?" he asked.
"Oh, I was hanging out with a few friends for the day" I lied.
I didn't want Ethan to know my relationship with Anna especially since she's his ex-girlfriend. If he finds out about this, he'll be super pissed and heartbroken at me. He nodded, and I felt relief throughout my whole body that he bought the lie.
"I'm just gonna go to bed," I said.
"Grayson, it's 9:38 p.m. You never go to bed this early," he responds.
"I know, I'm just super tired" I lied again.
"Okay, Goodnight Gray," he said.
"Night E," I said before walking towards my bedroom.
I sat down on my bed feeling exhausted from today. I decided to text Anna goodnight even though I already said goodnight to her when I dropped her off.
Grayson: Goodnight beautiful❤ I'm so glad you had fun today. Get some well deserve rest. Talk to you in the morning baby girl😘
