Patryck's POV
This was the second night in a row Paul was gone. He's been leaving at least once a week for the past 3 months. But never like this.
Every night he reeks of perfume. He claims that the bar smelled like that from all the 'weird girls', and I only half believe him at this point. Tomorrow night, I'm coming to the door with him. He can run to his friend's truck from there, but I at least need to see the vehicle. Make sure it's nothing weird.
I'm trying to doubt it and hope for the best, but it doesn't work for a depressed pessimist like me. Again, he's going to come home late and claim there was traffic or that they weren't watching the time. I'll believe him again. I'll believe him until I know.
I love him, I trust him.
But for now, I'm here in an empty bed running empty on hope.
End of Part 2.
P.S This reminds of an old song that I'll have featured in the next chapter.
