Talia's POV

Jason stared at me heartbroken. I almost forgave him with those eyes. Key word almost. I will never forget amd forgive what he did to me, I'm pretty sure no one could.

Jason stared at me for a few more seconds, then sighed, and left the room. Then Andrew slipped through the door.

"I'm going to get you out of here." I would have almost missed it by how quietly he said it.

"Really?" I exclaim. He nods, "How?"

"You pretend to fall in love with Jason and then try to gain his trust," he looks up at me to make sure I'm listening then continuing, "The day he trusts me enough to stay with you, I'll get you out of here."

"But Jason will figure out that you helped me escape."

"I rather let you live happily," he smiles, "I've made bad choices and look where it got me. I don't want you stuck in this gang life like the rest of us."

That's when I basically found out that Andrew is not a bad person. He was just hanging with the wrong crowd.

"Can I just ask you one question, Andrew?"

"Shoot."

"Why?" I questioned. Why was he helping me escape from one of his best friend? Was Jason behind this plan?

"As I said before, I want you to live happily. I want you to get married and have kids. That's something none of us will probably have or understand."

I jumped out the bed and hugged him. He hesitantly wrapped his arms around me and gave me a squeeze.

"Now, don't be all over him and stuff because then he'll know something is up," he says.

"Okay."

"Bye now, cause I'm hungry and craving pizza." He announced. I laughed as he walked out.

I laid in bed for what felt like hours but what was probably a couple minutes. I heard the door creak open and turned to see Jason standing at the door.

"Jason."

"Hmm?" he hummed. Then I said the three words he probably never saw coming.

"I forgive you."
