Astrid loved making friends and it was probably because she was such an extroverted person. She loved noticing someone, whether they be sad or happy, and just heading over to them to strike up a conversation, and the only problem in that was that she was absolutely horrendous at making friends or even just striking up a simple conversation where she didn't accidentally insult the person because often, she tended to speak before her thought process had caught up with her mouth.

In saying that, she was content with Nolan being her closest friend as their personalities were quite similar and yet completely different.

Nolan took her larger than life personality in stride, never taking offence to words she spoke without a second thought and wore a gentle smile as she apologized profusely, whether she was apologizing to him directly or something she has said about a friend of his or towards something he was fond of.

Astrid adored Nolan's quiet, yet completely mischievous personality, it blending strikingly well with her own. He was more introverted in a sense but the extrovert in him came out when it deemed fit, around people he didn't like or the people he was comfortable with.

Percy Weasley, however, was uncharted territory in the sense that Astrid had absolutely no idea how to talk to him without accidentally offending him which had happened more often then not anytime they had spoken in their five years at Hogwarts but she happened to like his intelligence and how nice he usually was, not how stuck up and impossibly rude he could be at times.

"Why are you staring at me?"

Astrid snapped out of her thoughts to see the very person her mind had wandered towards sitting across from her with a scowl.

She blinked, "Sorry?"

"Why are you staring at me?" He repeated as he pushed his glasses back up.

"Was I?" She asked, her face flushing, "I was caught up in my thoughts, didn't even realise."

He watched her for a moment, his eyebrows scrunched together, his expression disbelieving as his eyes narrowed.

"Right." He drew out before he glanced back down at his parchment, his eyebrows somehow pulling further together as he dipped his quill back into his inkpot before he began to scratch out another few sentences, quickly realising that the brunette was still watching him, "What is your issue?"

"Nothing!" Astrid huffed, raising her hands in defence as she came to be on the receiving end of his dark look, "You're just really cute when you're concentrating."

The male flushed deeply, pushing his spectacles back up onto his face when he ducked his head.

"Never heard that before." He mumbled.

"What? That you're cute?" Astrid deadpanned and when his blush deepened, the brunette cooed, "Aw, you haven't? That's so cute."

"Shut it, Kent." The Prefect grumbled out.

Astrid smiled faintly as she placed the quill in her hand onto the desk.

"Shut what?" She questioned, "You're nice and sweet, Weasley. And, on top of that, you're like insanely attractive. Embrace it."

"Like you do?" He asked moodily, his cheeks darkening as Astrid's eyes shot back to him, her hands slapping against her own cheeks, which she would later regret because it hurt.

"Do you think I'm attractive, Weasley?" She asked, genuinely excited at the thought, almost squeezing her cheeks to the point of pain.

"Course I would." He responded, his eyes never leaving his parchment, though his thoughts were far from it, "Who wouldn't?"

"You're sweet." She said after a moment as her eyes flickered to what he was writing, "Now, I know with absolute certainty that you've finished all of your homework so what are you working on?"

Percy sighed, knowing that the woman would not leave him to his own devices until he answered so he placed his quill back into the inkpot beside him and turned to the auburn-haired witch.

"I'm filling out a job form." He told her.

"You do realise that it's September of Sixth Year right?"

"Yes, I'm well aware." Percy huffed, "I like to get into these things early, send out letters with my achievements and such."

"Weasley, you clearly could have just told me you were writing up a resume," Astrid told him with a smile, secreting loving the way he explained things to her, even when annoyance made up ninety per cent of his tone.

His nose scrunched up in confusion.

"What's a resume?"

"Oh, right. It's just the muggle term of what you're doing right now." Astrid answered once she realised he wasn't pulling her leg, "Put Head Boy on there at all?"

"I haven't been selected, Kent."

"But we all know that you will." She responded with a grin, "Face it, you've pretty much got it in the bag unless you somehow get expelled this year."

"Like you will be if you keep on skipping out on Defence," Percy told her as he grasped his quill.

Astrid huffed as he traced the grain pattern in the wood of the table.

"Lockheart is an absolute joke."

"I agree." Percy said, "But, why would you ruin your dreams of being Head Auror one day because our teacher is terrible?"

"I know." She moaned, "But he's so terrible and just goes on and on about his so-called achievements and to make matters worse, he's also super flirty which creeps me out considering he's like, a thousand years old."

Percy smiled slightly but made no room to correct her.

"I'm no expert in Defence but I'll help you get your grade up if you'd like."

"You're an angel, Percy Weasley!" Astrid told him with a bright smile.
