[Paris.]
Paris' eyes shot open due to the cherry red alarm making an obnoxiously loud sound. She reached out and tried turning the sound off multiple times. And on her 5th try, she finally turned the sound off. Paris removed the eye mask and sat up, grabbing her brush right next to her alarm and running it through her perfect brown hair. "Ms. Celeste! It's the first day of school and you're almost late!" One of her assistants yelled through the door. The loud knock from her assistant's fist gave a weird chill down her spine, making her even more awake than before."Yes, I'm aware! Give me 5 minutes!" Paris replied. Paris was no ordinary girl, she was different in a way. She was a 5'7 Fil-Am early bird. A daydream, a passionate person and always puts 101% effort on the little things.
She stood up and did some stretches before taking a shower and wearing her school uniform which was basically a plaid skirt, a plain top, knee socks, and her doc martens. She then grabbed her bag and walked her way to the kitchen grabbing her lunch and breakfast (which was basically a doughnut and coffee) and walked her way to school which was only 5 minutes away from her house. While walking, she studied her surroundings, the small body of water beside her, the bridge towering over it, the trees, basically everything until she bumped into a buff persons chest. A random pair of glasses falling to the ground then making a thud sound.
"I-I'm so sorry, I didn't-" Paris stuttered before being interrupted by the tall tan man in front of her.
"It's fine," He said with a plain tone, making him sound like he was bored or unamused. Paris finally looked up to see a guy around her age but a bit older, his hair was neatly brushed. It was a bit curly and his eyes were this mesmerizing brown. The type of eyes you can get lost in. Funny because she IS lost in them.
"Are you done staring?" The buff boy asked, cleaning his glasses with his dress shirt. His eyes finally meeting her hazel ones.
"Yeah- I mean- I wasn't staring but- I'm sorry," Paris repeated and dashed off to her next class. She gripped the straps of her bag then continued her 5-minute journey to her school. Her hands pushed open the doors of the fancy private school. Then studied her surroundings once more (making sure she won't bump into anyone again). Everyone basically looked the same. Related in a way.
"Paris! Paris! Par!" Someone called. It was Luke. Her best friend since grade school. He made his way to her. Ignoring all his adoring 'admirers' and all the weird looks.
"I thought you wouldn't come!" He smiled as he toyed with his lip ring making Paris let out a giggle.
"Well I did," She replied with a blush and a bright smile plastered on her face. She couldn't lie. Luke looked pretty good today. She always had a small crush on him since the start of high school. Luke playfully rolled his eyes in response and grabbed her hand as they walked to their next class. They were about to be a minute late until both of their feet reached their seats. Paris was the first to sit down. Then, Luke. Obviously, he sat beside Paris.
"Who are these people?" Paris questioned, leaning closer to the blonde boy. The feeling of probably being the only new student made her feel overwhelmed. Am I the only new student in class? Wait no, scratch that. Am I the only new student in this whole school? It can't be. She thought to herself.
Suddenly, the door burst open, making everyone look up. Paris' eyes widened. It's him! The same guy I bumped into! She thought to herself once more in a panicked state. The teacher walked in and placed his things on the table. He looked up and had eye contact with her. Does he remember me? Wait- of course, he does! I knocked his glasses off! She scolds herself.
