[Paris]
friday
"Darn," the flustered brunette muttered to herself as the pink ballpoint pen collided with the cold hard pale floor that was spread out across the small classroom. It made a sound which was heard by each of her classmates causing them to look up to see what happened then back down at their papers. Paris shot a sorry look and extended her arm to retrieve it then sat back down letting a small huff leave her pale red lips.
"Language." Mr. Hood replied. His brown eyes meeting her lighter brown ones. Paris quickly looked away, she could never look directly at someone's eyes. Paris would always feel flustered just looking at someone for too long but this wasn't new.
"But Luke always cusses!" Paris quietly argued, hoping her literature teacher didn't hear her petty reply. It was true anyway. Luke could yell any bad word on the 'list of bad words' and get away with it anytime. She looked up with a frown to see an unenthusiastic look on her teachers face. "Don't bring Luke into this," Mr. Hood shot back.
Paris mumbled something incoherent and went back to her work. She lifted her pink pen and glanced at her teacher hoping he would already have his eyes on her. But unfortunately, he was 'busy'. She huffed and continued writing her essay, her feet slowly swinging back and forth.
This caught Mr. Hood's attention. He looked up as a small chuckle left his lips. adorable. On the other hand, Paris was too naive to notice Mr. Hoods stare. She was too busy writing about something about Shakespeare.
In my opinion, Shakespeare was just making fun of true love. She wrote. Paris then stopped to tilt her head in confusion. I am right. Right? She thought to herself.
"Okay!" The brunette teacher said as he showed his signature smile to the class. He swiftly stood up, staring at each and everyone of his students but his eyes lingered on 'hers' the longest.
"I'm assuming everybody is done with their essays?" He continued. Some just mumbled incoherent 'yes's and 'no's. Mr. Hood shook his head with a smile. Paris finally looked up and saw her teacher going through a list of names from the class list.
"Ms. Beer?" She looked at her classmate as she stood up and began reading small parts of her essay. Paris couldn't deny it. She was really pretty. The way her hair fell off her shoulder and her gorgeous brown eyes skimming through the papers made every girl feel ugly. Paris eyes checked her id. Madison.
Madison then stopped reading and sat back down. "Wonderful essay Ms. Beer. I'm looking forward to reading more of your works," Her literature teacher praised. Madison smiled in reply and nodded her head.
The bell suddenly made an eerie ringing sound which obviously meant classes were over. Everyone then stood up and grabbed their bags and walked to the cafeteria. Paris opened her lunchbox and sat beside Luke who was chewing on a sandwich. She grabbed her grape juice and stabbed her straw into it as she took small sips.
"Arfe you goingf to the dance?" He started, which made Paris giggle. She grabbed a napkin that was on his lap and wiped some of the mayo off his face.
"hmm, not sure. I don't have a partner!" Paris replied with a frown. Luke finished his sandwich. He crumpled the paper towel that was around the sandwich and threw it at the trashcan nearby which landed perfectly.
"You can ask Mr. Hood out. Going to the dance alone would suck. " Luke mumbled with a hint of tease. A smirk made its way to his face which made Paris half choke on her grape juice.
"You're being ridiculous!" I playfully snapped. Paris felt bubbly at the thought of him in a suit and a tie that was perfectly fitted around his neck. I mean, Lukes right, it would suck if I went alone.
Paris thought about it and frowned. "Can you be my-"
"Partner? I asked Madison out, Madison Beer." Luke replied as he reached for her dripping cold grape juice that was secured by her cold fingers. He took a large gulp and gave it back to Paris as she shot Luke a glare. Paris gave her drink a little shake only to realize that he finished it.
"You asshole! You finished it!" Paris groaned as she playfully punched Luke's arm.
Luke was about to reach for Paris but a voice stopped him from doing so. "Can I eat with you guys?" Luke looked up to see his partner, Madison in front of him. Just seeing her made his heart beat like crazy.
You probably look like an idiot. His voice reminded him. The blonde boy sat up straight and patted on the empty spot beside him.
The new girl smiled and sat beside him and started eating.
Luke twitched and squirmed from time to time due to the thick awkward atmosphere.
"Oh, uhm- this is my friend, Paris." Luke coughed and leaned back so Madison could see the other girl beside blondie.
Her lit up eyes met Paris' happy ones.
"You're that girl in literature class! I think Mr. Hood's a hottie!" Madison gushed. Luke wanted to flip the table across him. What's with girls and Mr. Hood anyway?
"Oh but don't worry, he's yours." Madison continued as she sent a wink to her while Luke smirked at Paris with a nudge.
The bell suddenly rung which made all the students in the loud canteen stand up and leave their seats. The three students sent each other small smiles and walked to their next class. Paris groaned as she suddenly realized that chemistry was her next class. She dragged her feet in frustration as she climbed a mountain of stairs.
Paris almost made it to the classroom but she accidentally bumped into a tall figure. "Hey watch it you-" Paris stopped when her eyes met the familiar teacher.
"you what? Go on." Mr. Hood smirked as he wiped of the imaginary mess on his suit.
"Nothing Mr. Hood." The flustered girl practically whispered. Then it was awkward. Paris wanted to walk to her class and leave Mr. Hood but it felt like that would be rude.
"cold." she mumbled to herself with a shiver. She was about to reach for her zipper but her teacher beat her to it.
"here, I gotcha." He offered as he reached for her jackets zipper and sliding it upward, his hands almost touching her chest along the way which made him gulp hard.
You idiot! What are you doing? His conscience scolded him. The brunette let go off his students zipper and sent her a small smile as she thanked him. "So, chemistry is your last class?"
"uh huh," Paris replied before walking to her classroom.
You and I both sweetheart. He thought to himself before chuckling and walking away.
HIII ITS ME IM STILL ALIVE SORRY FOR THE LONG WAIT
