jimin dragged namjoon, who, was extremely confused, to the room which yoongi advised him to take him to. namjoon didn't know of anything, not about his ex boyfriend attending, or about there being a party at all. he didn't know what jimin was doing, or where he had to be.

he was taken to a room, where a boy, who he didn't know, sat upon the window frame. after, jimin immediately closed the door with only namjoon and that boy inside, locking the door, before going outside alone.

it was silent, awkward and namjoon stayed perplexed. he didn't know who the boy that was sitting directly in front of him was. he didn't even realise that it was the user 'min.yoon.gi' from the group chat which him and his friends texted in. the window curtain was flowing, and cold air was making its way into the room, giving the a-few-days-late birthday boy chills and goosebumps. yoongi, realising that the coldness from the wind was making his friend which he only knew online cold, shut the window closed. namjoon was stilling gripping onto his arms with his hands, despite the air being cut off, but he was just nervous.

"you seem tense, why is that?" the unknown paled skinned boy spoke, asking namjoon why he looked so suddenly tense all of a sudden. "it's not like i'm going to attack you or anything, i don't bite."

namjoon became attentive, and grew more tense, a little more nervous and seemed to shake. yoongi chuckled, seeing how the boy was reacting to him. he moved to sit onto the bed that was in the room, and patted the space next to him, inviting namjoon to sit beside him. namjoon, being so shy and nervous, hesitated until yoongi spoke once again.

"you've been standing for a while, late-birthday boy. come sit down to rest your legs, will you?" he smiled, his eyes half closed, it made him look quite tired, which he was but wasn't at the same time. namjoon sighed and finally sat beside the thin, pale boy. he cautiously, kept his distance between the two of them, because he, still did not know who yoongi was, neither did he know of his name.

the two boys sat distantly next to each other, not making any type of eye contact what so ever, it was already awkward as is. yoongi wasn't close to good at starting a conversation, or even talking in general, but, he thought that if the silence in the room were to keep up, it'd get weirder every minute. so he was the first to speak, in an attempt to start a nice, friendly conversation.

"introductions are the best way to start a conversation, aren't they?" yoongi enquired, not looking towards namjoon at all. he anticipated that namjoon would not reply back to him, but, the other boy hummed back in response, fortunately. "mhm." yoongi sighed out of relief, and, continued on. "i should introduce myself then." he stuttered, "i am yoongi, min y-yoongi. i'm apart of that group c-chat everybody sp-, so happens to speak in. you should at least know my user." namjoon pondered, upon realising that it was that yoongi from the group chat that went by 'min.yoon.gi'. after, namjoon didn't feel so uncomfortable beside him, now knowing well that he wasn't some stranger that was a friend of jimin's.

"oh, i-i'm nam-" the boy suddenly got cut off by his elder, who he, did not know was older. "no need for the introduction, i already know you, namjoon." he grinned, still not facing his younger friend. namjoon chuckled quietly, his cheeks becoming quite flushed afterwards.

"so, anyway, i heard you date guys. you're into guys, right?" yoongi asked namjoon, which seemed to be quite a risky question, but he asked anyway. the younger boy, who was of course, really shy and indeed cautious, did not want to confirm such a question to someone whom he barely knew, and refused to answer, ignoring his question.
