double update woot woot

Alan's pov:

I walked down the sidewalk, my arms wrapping themselves around my torso in a hugging manner. The cool wind providing no warmth as the the bitter cold slipped beneath the sleeves of my sweater. I ignored the numb feeling the wind cast upon my fingers and took out my phone and ear buds and placed the buds in my ears. I turned on the song "Girls" by Mayday Parade.

"girls please,

please allow

my voice to calm

you down,

boys understand

girls will never

listen or learn."

The song started off, the lyrics soothed my frantic mind. As the song progressed I found my head nodding to the beat. I looked up for a moment spotting a gorgeous blonde girl. She was walking on the opposite side of the road. As soon as my gaze met hers I turned my attention back to my phone. I turned back to the pretty blonde but she was no where to be seen. I couldn't help but to let a small frown find its way to my slightly chapped lips. I put my phone in my pocket and started my route to the little coffee nook I've come accustom to. As I enter the shop the aroma of coffee and pastries fill my nostrils. I smile warmly and go up to the counter to make my order. I ordered a small hot chocolate with cinnamon spice. I take a sip before slipping into a little corner booth with a window to the right. After five minutes of watching the outside world, I notice the blonde again she's walking toward the small café. I feel a twinge of hope that maybe she'll notice me. She enters the café, the bell tied to the handle of the door jingled as the door opened and closed. She doesn't order anything, she simply sits down in the booth across from mine. I feel her gaze on the side of my head but I chose to ignore it. The noise of an old t.v pulls me from my thoughts. "Breaking news 21 year old Jack Bassam Barakat was found dead in an ally way, the autopsy indicates he was badly burned the investigators were lucky to find any DNA, more about his case will be revealed when we get new information." The news caster said in a serious tone. That was a bit unsettling, I finished my hot chocolate and headed out of the café and back into the bitter cold. I walked back home quickly and avoided ally ways. Once I was home I stripped down to my boxers and curled up in bed. The blonde girl still latched onto my thoughts and consumed my dreams.

"its hard for me to slumber when she's outside my home."

I feel like I was a bit poetic in this chapter.. eh  I added a falling in reverse line from bad girls club, it kinda fit this chapter. -becca
