"Why didn't you tell me sooner? We wouldn't of had to deal with this shit" Nines said to Gavin in a slightly concerned tone
"What do you mean 'we'" Gavin said sorely "I'm the one in hospital for han-"
He was interrupted by Nines coughing, the detective was confused.
'Androids don't need to cough'
He sat up and watched petals escaping his partner's throat, then a whole flower.
An aster and several petals sat in the android's hand, tainted with thirium.
Aster: patience
Gavin was shocked, why did his android have hanahaki?
"Nines..."
After a bit the blued aster was placed onto the end of the hospital bed, and the owner of the flower spoke up.
"It would have been nice to know you had it too, could've gotten it over and done with by now"
By now Gavin just wanted to stay silent, it sounded like his partner had had the disease for a while as well.
"Who is it...?" He sounded defeated with his sore throat making him sound worse
The android sighed.
"It's you."
