we live in reality
my crush won't like me immediately
you won't even notice me
your friends seem to catch onto the hints
yet it passes you, a hit and miss
now we're friends
and everything seems alright
until you get someone else,
pretending that i'm not there
losing out connection is what i fear
complain about your problems to your friends
it spreads around and gets into her head
you break up and make up
the cycle continues to stay
she makes a finally decision to flee
you don't bag an eye at her leave,
going back to your normal daily routine
while she gets all the attention she needs
your cycle of "loved ones" continue
and i've given up on my dreams with you
i realized you weren't the on me for me
in reality i didn't have the courage
to ask my needs
