Quick summary from last chapter: you and Matt are going out for your birthday. The walk to the designated place was quiet with a side of awkward, but both of you confront a crowd of people blocking your path. Both of you get separated and you encounter a suspicious and straightforward man after freeing yourself from the meat river.
Matt's pov
Dammit! Where are they?! I paced back and forth in front of the boba shop Y/n had described. I somehow found it first besides the fact that they're smaller and way faster than I am. But they're taking a long time to get here... What if something happened to them?
"Uh, sir?" I turned to look at the person talking to me. "Can you stop pacing back and forth in front of the shop? It's scaring the customers..."(oof) I looked over at the shop, and most of the people inside were staring and murmuring to each other. What the f*ck...well might as well look for them... "Sure..." I started walking away but remembered about the crowd. Damn... They weren't answering their phone, but there was an app I had that tracked phone numbers...I'll risk it then.
I quickly found their contact in the app and checked the map. It showed that they were nearby, and the location was slightly moving around the same spot. But why? I started making my way through the crowd, not caring who I pushed. The location was in an alleyway, but that always meant something bad was happening. I hope they're okay...
Your pov
The two men grabbed me, one of them instantly tying me up with tape. "H-hey! Let me go!" I kicked the guy holding the tape in the face before he could tape my legs together. "Do it," the man's voice hissed at the other guy who was trying to hold me. I felt a prick in the back of my neck and suddenly felt tired and weak. "Sorry prince/princess, but we can't have you causing trouble for us right now."
Shit... Someone please... I couldn't scream. Anything that came out if my mouth became muffled by tape as the guy resumed with taping my legs. "Hurry up, before someone finds out she's missi-"
THWACK!
The man fell to the floor, holding his bloodied head in pain. "And THAT gentleman, is why you shouldn't be KIDNAPPING people!" A familiar voice growled, but I couldn't make out who the voice belonged to. I heard metal being dragged closer, and one of the men was suddenly carrying me bridal style. At that point, my eyesight was getting blurry, but I could faintly hear metal being dragged and the panicked whispering of both men. "What should we do?" "I don't know! The boss is down and we could be next!" "Should we just run?"
Matt's pov
I sprinted towards the two men, managing to hit one of them in the head. "YOU'RE GONNA PAY YOU PUNKS!" I yelled, and hit the other one while he was caught off guard. He dropped Y/n, but I caught them before they could hit the ground. "It's okay," I started cutting the tape with a pocket knife, and hauled them onto my back. "m-matt?" Their voice was frail, almost a whisper as I started running back to the house. "Don't worry Y/n, I'm here." They were limp, almost slipping off my back a few times, but we managed to make it back and Tom greeted me at the door with a worried look on his face.
Your pov
Everything that happened was a blur when I woke up. From the moment the drug was injected to the moment I blacked out. I was in my bed, still in my clothes from...today? How long was I out for? I looked around my room hoping to see any clue for the time. I spotted the bright red numbers on my alarm clock that read 6:38pm. When did we come back? I only remembered encountering the man in the alleyway and...blurs. Damn...why can't I remember anything? I hit my head in frustration but decided to check with the others and find out what happened to-Wait WHERE'S MATT?! I remember we both got separated and I heard his voice somewhere but where?
"Dammit," I mumbled and made my way to my door but stopped. From the other side loud arguing could be heard coming from downstairs. "What the...," I pressed my ear to the door in hopes of getting some snippets of the argument.
"Matt... wasn't your...! Y/n wasn't...cause you showed...in time and saved them!" Tom?
"What...not my fault?! This...been avoided, but I wasn't there...their side!" That sounded like...Matt
"Look...got what they deserved...okay" Edd
"...!"
There was running footsteps coming up the stairs and Matt's name being called from below. A door slam notified me that he probably shut himself in his room. What should I do? I thought for not even 5 seconds before opening my door and headed to Matt's room.
3rd pov (I guess?)
You gave a faint knock on Matt's door, alerting him of your presence. Letting yourself in you saw that Matt was lying in his bed, shaking. "hey...matt?" Said figure didn't move or say anything. He didn't seem to hear you at all when you walked over and sat on his bed. At this point you could even hear faint mumbling from him. You lied down next to him and repeated his name. "matt...look at me, please." Matt froze, but turned around to face you. "matt..." "I... Y/n..." It sounded as if he was about to cry. "shh...matt...it's okay..." His arms wrapped around your waist, pulling you closer to him. Tears started trickling down his face and you lifted a hand to wipe them off. "no need to cry, it wasn't your fault." His arms tightened around your waist and you looked up at him. "I could've lost you... Y/n..." You hushed him by putting a hand on his cheek, making him look at you. "matt, please don't blame yourself. you were the one who saved me from being kidnapped, if you hadn't been there then..." Your voice was soft and weak, but he nodded knowing what you meant. "get some sleep matt, you've stressed too much for today." He gave you a tired smile, and kissed you on your cheek. "I love you Y/n... I don't know what I would do without you..." He drifted off, leaving your heart beating rapidly. You were left with many questions while he slept, but soon grew tired as well. Maybe, you'll ask him tomorrow...
The next morning Tom didnt find you in your room. He slightly panicked amd slammed the door open to Matt's room. Tom was surprised to see you both sleeping together, until Matt jolted awake, but you seemed to have slept through that."OMG! Are you guys..." "SHHH!" Matt threw a pillow at Tom, trying his best to not wake you but of course that didn't work. "m-matt? what's going on-" you suddenly remembered last night's events, including what Matt told you and sleeping with him. "Eep!" You hid your face in a flustered Matt's chest, blushing as much as the ginger. "IM TELLING EDD AND TORD!" "G-GET YOUR ASS BACK HERE!" Matt wasn't able to chase after Tom due to him still holding you in his arms. "Y/n?" You looked up at him, his blue eyes looking into your e/c ones. "Are we together now?" You thought for a moment, and replied.
"Yes"

If i remember correctly then Demon Tord and Monster tOm are next, like both of them in the same oneshot. Hopefully I dont take to long again
