Eduardo's pov
The first time I met Y/n was a couple of months ago, when she had first moved in. She instantly got along with everyone, yet I felt something else. She is small and innocent, the kind of person that needs to be protected...
I watched her walk down the street, and she greeted me with a bright smile and continued on. Before she got out of my sight I flew up into the air and watched her from above, being careful to not let anyone else see me.
She walked in a store and I waited until she came out. A lot of people were out and about so it was a little difficult following her. But I was able to manage. She came upon a lonely street, and the only people besides her were some men leaning against a white van. Strange... I flew up to a rooftop nearest them and watched as they told her something...
Your pov
"What is a lady like you doing out here, eh?" The man asked and I turned my attention to the three men leaning against the van. It was strange since the trio wore all black...
"Oh, I just wanted to avoid the crowd," I answered, but they didn't seem to be listening. Two of them looked me up and down before looking at each other and nodding.
"Say... You should come with us, we'll give you a ride back," the one in the middle said, a smirk on his face.
"Oh, no thanks, I can walk." I politely rejected his offer and started to walk again.
"That wasn't an offer," he looked at the other two, amd they nodded. They quickly grabbed me, making me drop my bags.
"H-hey!" I struggled against their grip as they brought me back towards the van. "Let me GO!" I kicked one of them in the face, but then I felt a sharp pain in my neck before going limp.
"That should do it... Now get her in the van before anyone sees." The one I kicked carried me once again, and I was filled with fear.
"Let her go" I recognized that voice. Eduardo? What was he doing here?
"Who are you?!" One of the men exclaimed.
"That doesn't matter. Put her down and leave before things get worse for you" His voice firm and demanding.
"Why don't you," CLICK "mind your own bussiness," the man said, but my vision started to blur. I felt myself being slung over a shoulder and another click.
"Guess we're gonna have to do this the hard way," I heard Eduardo say, followed by a lazer hum. The last thing I saw was one of the men getting smashed into a wall.
---------Time skip---------
Eduardo's pov
I carried Y/n in my arms as I flew over some buildings. I hadn't planned to kill those men, but what they were going to do was unforgivable. They deserved to die.
"E-Eduardo?" I looked down at Y/n, her eyes looking dull and lifeless. Her voice was weak, barely a whisper.
"Yes?" We were nearing my house, and Mark would probably know what to do.
"T-thank you f-for saving me" Tears streamed down her face, and I held her closer.
"Don't worry, I won't let that happen again, I'll protect you," I landed in the front yard.
"I'll kill for you"
