---Alex's POV---
"What do you mean?" Zayn asks worry in his eyes.
I love him I really do, but I need time to think.
"I want to take a break, for a little while. To think, about us." it's hard for the words to come out, but they do.
"Oh okay, I understand."
"You're fine with this right?" no matter what I'll still care and worry about him.
"Yeah" he has a small frown on his beautiful face.
I reach across the small table and hold his hand.
"Just for a little while. At least a week. Whenever you want call me, text me. I don't care." I stare into his eyes.
"Promise?"
"Promise" I smile and kiss his cheek.
After we say bye I give him a long hug. My arms wrap around his waist, my head rested on his chest.
"Remember, it's just a little while." I remind.
"I'll try to hang in" he smiles.
"And also remember that you can call and text me whenever."
"I will."
We say our goodbyes and go our seperate ways.
---Alex's house---
"How'd it go?" my mom asks when I close the door.
"Good. I told him we should take a break for a little while, he can call or text me anytime."
"I hope he can make it. Me and your father saw how much he cared for you that night"
"Me too. No matter what happens I'll always care for him and worry. I just hope I can make it."
---Zayn's POV---
I get to the house and Louis and Harry are the only one's awake.
"So how'd it go?" Louis asks pausing the show they were watching.
"She said she needed time to think about us. So we're gonna take a break for a little while." just thinking of what happend last night brings tears to my eyes, seeing her cry. I quickly wipe then away and clear my throat.
"It's okay to cry lad. We know how much you love her, changed for her. We're here for you." Harry explains.
"I know, but Im not the only one that matters right now. What's going on with you and Perrie?"
"After you stormed out I talked to her outside and told her we shouldn't see each other anymore" he frowns. He's always been do nice. Unless you piss him off, then it's gonna be lights out motherfucker.
"You'll find the one some day. Like I'm sure I did."
