Chapter Seventeen

Dequan "Quan"

"What do you mean she won't answer her phone?" I asked Lenny. He called my hand panicking that Delilah wasn't answering her phone. "She won't answer. Man, I swear if somebody hurt her!" He said. "Bruh, it's gone be alright. Nobody did nothing to my sis. I'm sure she just needed some alone time. Sometimes she need that," I said. "Alright. Call me if she comes home and tell her to call me bro," he said. "Roger that," I said before hanging up.

I wasn't too worried about Ly. She's a grown woman and if she's not answering her calls then she most likely doesn't want to be bothered. Lenny is being aggy for what though? I rolled my eyes. I went and knocked on my parent's bedroom door. The door opened slightly and Diamond poked her head out. "QUAAAAAAAA!" She screamed to the top of her lungs. I smiled and picked her up. She kissed all over my face. I loved this little girl to death. She reminds me so much of Tylaa.

"Wassup kiddo?" I asked her. I planted a big wet kiss on her cheek. She blushed. "Nothing. I'm waiting for Ly," she said. I nodded. "Where is she?" I asked more to my parents, who were in the bed half asleep, than her. "She said she'd be back Quan. Now take Di please," she said. "Byeeeee!" Diamond squealed as I closed their door. She's so crazy at times.

I walked her into my room and she ran and started jumping on my bed. Normally, I would've told her "no", but I let her. I just had so much going on in my mind at the time. First, this mess with Aysia is crazy. I can't believe a beautiful person like her could be a hoe, but then again that explains. I shook my head. These girls are trifiling. Then Tylaa popped into my mind. I was really missing her. I just wish that we could at least be back to our regular selves. Friends would even be nice right now! I sighed and laid back on the bed.

Diamond jumped right on to my stomach. "Argh," I pretended to be hurt. "So sorry," Di said giggling. "It's cool," I said. "Qua," she whined. "Hmm?" I asked her. "Do you ever think you and mommy can be together?" She asked. Dang. Even baby girl know wassup. I rubbed my hand across my face and grabbed her cheeks. I made a kissy face and said "your my only girlfriend," in a funny voice. She almost died of laughter. She's such a cute little one. A laughed with her.

"I like that idea," she said nodding. "Gimme kiss," I said. She smiled and tried to kiss me, but I dodged it. She kept trying, as we both laughed, until I finally gave her a smooch. Man, I wish she was my daughter.

"Dequannnnnn!" I heard Delilah's voice whine. I rolled my eyes. I got up and Diamond followed behind me. I looked at my sister and she looked a complete mess. I was confused and I already knew something was wrong. For some reason, I felt as though it had something to do with Jordan. I sighed.
