first date

it was saturday morning and i just ate breakfast. i decided to go for a run so i brought Spot with me. while running i had my earphones in and i had my attention with Spot. then suddenly i bumped into someone.

"oh sorry!" i apologized and removed one ear bud out.
"its fi-- Zerena?" he said and i looked at him.
"Tae!" i said and we hugged eachother.
"also going for a run, i see?" he says and i nod.
"wanna run together?" he suggested and i agreed. we ran together for an hour and ended up at a lake area. it was beautiful.
"hey so uhm, ive always wanted to ask you.." Tae started as i had my eyes stuck on the view.
"continue? im listening." i told him.
"well, would you like to have dinner with me sometime?" he asked nervously.
"oh sure! will the boys be there?" i asked.
"uhm, i kinda planned having just you and me there." he explained and chuckled.
"as in like a date?" i asked and he nodded.
"okay! yeah, sure." i said and smiled at him.
"but you know in the Philippines, guys usually have to ask permission first from the girls' parents before going on a date and courting a girl." i explained to him.
"dont worry i will ask them." he assured me. we ran back to my place then i gave Spot some food and water, i also greeted my family. it was 10 am and i decided to now have my breakfast, i also invited Tae to eat here and he agreed. we ate breakfast with my family.

"uhm, uncle Andrew, aunt Adriana. i wanna ask permission to take Zerena out on a date tonight. would that be alright with the both of you?" Tae asked my parents and i was shocked. i didnt expect it to be this soon.
"like on a date?" dad asked him.
"yes, sir." he answered.
"no need to call me sir and your auntie maam. we are allowing you to take her on a date tonight. but be sure to be back here by 10pm" dad replied.
"thank you! ill pick her up at 6:30" he said. as we finished our food, Tae, Zach and i stayed in the living room watching cartoons.
"so, take care of my sister, alright?" Zach said.
"yes sir!" Tae saluted him. we all chuckled.
"i already like you for her." Zach whispered a little too loud at Tae.
"that sounds great, boss!" he whispered back.

"well, its 2pm now. we have homework to do. ill pick you up at 6:30." Tae said.
"where will we be going?" i asked.
"its a surprise. but just wear something casual." he explained.
i walk him to the door with Zach and they hugged eachother and he kissed my forehead.
"ill text you when i get here. do your homework, okay?" he said. i nodded.

i went back to my room and did my homework. after that it was only 4pm so i decided to take a shower and lounge around my oversized shirt for awhile. i also finished doing my skincare. i watched youtube videos to kill time and when 5:15pm struck i got up and went to my closet and picked out an outfit. after that i wore it and did my make up and afterwards my hair.

then it was 6:15 i got a message that Tae was already here. i got my bag and put my phone, charger, wallet, earphones, glasses and liptint inside then went downstairs.

"hey!" Tae said.
"you're early." i whined.
"i wanted to be punctual for you." he explained.
he greeted my family members afterwards and they took pictures of us, i blushed because of the embarrassment but he was totally okay with it. infact, he enjoyed it since he always enjoys time with my family. we bid our goodbyes to them then went outside and got into his car and told his driver where to go.

"you look really great." he complimented.
"you dont look awful youself." i said to him.

"where are we going?" i asked.
"you'll see and we're close so you need to wear this." he explained while handing me an eye mask. i put it over my eyes then i felt the car stop. he got outside and went to my side to open the door for me and to guide me. as i heard us enter a place, i heard many voices and many other noises.
"1,2,3 open!" he said and so i did. we were in an arcade with a pizza place connected to it. i like the old fashion, i smiled.
"so, lets order." he said and led us to a table. we ordered a 4 cheese pizza and 1 vanilla milk shake for me and a chocolate milkshake for him, and also a side of potato wedges. we were chatting while we were talking. he explained how he knew that pizza was my favorite food thats why he took me here and how i always talk about wanting to go in an arcade. it made me smile how he remember and actually internalizes those things.
"after we eat, lets go play, okay?" he asked.
"yes please!" i cheered.

after eating we played a bunch of games. he also won many claw machines for me since he knew how much i adore stuffed toys! after that we got ice cream bowls and thats how we ended it there. his driver picked us up and brough us to my house.
"thank you for tonigh! i really enjoyed." i told him.
"same here. could we maybe do this again?" he asked.
"ofcourse! id love that." i answered.
"well goodnight." he said.
"goodnight, Taehyung." i replied. we hugged eachohter and i kissed his cheeks. he also kissed mine along with my forehead, thats one very amazing first date.
