Chapter 5

When I got home my mom was sitting down in the kitchen holding Rhemi tightly crying, I completely left her sitting there. "Come here" She called to me, I stopped and turned around "Do you think what you've just done has gotten you anywhere or made anything better"She said gently, "No man I don't care who, No man is gonna beat my mother up and don't even deny he's been beating you because I've seen the marks and bruises" I scoffed. She let go off Rhemi putting her down for her to go play in the garden. "YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT YOUR FATHER HAS BEEN GOING THROUGH HELL LATELY AND SCROUNGING, LEAVING HIM ON HIS LAST WARNING AND YOU COULD OF JUST MADE HIM LOOSE HIS JOB" She screamed, "You can continue defending for him but I won't I've had enough, do you think I'm happy oh forget moody Sapphire she'll be okay cause she hasn't got any feelings she doesn't have anything on her mind because she's till a child" I spat, "I'm a grown woman mom stop making me out to be the bad person here I've been with you from the start you think that Rhemi and the others were made by happy people, I've noticed this for years but never had the guts to say it, I'm not gonna stick around any longer to see you hurt I'm done here" I cried out screaming and ran upstairs into my room leaving her sat down crying in the kitchen.

I slammed the door behind me and pulled out my suitcase out of my closet and fell to the ground crying. I'm done here I have nothing left to say or do here, I can't stay here anymore this is not the life I wanted, We have loads of money to buy and send things.

I got up off of the floor and started rummaging though my clothes and taking the clothes, shoes, make-up and hair accessories I needed.

I walking out of my room pulling my suitcase full of clothes and stuff and closed the door behind me and mom was standing on the stairs blocking me from going down. "Move" I demanded and she slapped me across my face making me bend over holding my face, I turned away from her to wipe my tears away quickly, "How dare you talk to me in that tone" she shouted "Don't you ever touch me again now move" I spat "Fine but make sure you know that once you leave this house I do not want to see you back here not even to see the kids I am done with you I don't know you, you don't know me I no longer have an older child we are finished" she cried and moved to the side of the stairs giving me way to pass, a tear dripped down my face and my mouth started to quiver, I looked up to her staring at her dry, tired body and her face wet with tears.

I picked up my suitcase and pulled it down the stairs with me towards the door, I looked back up at her "Get out and don't come back" she said dryly "Happily" I spat back to her and opened the door and slammed it behind me.

Once I put everything in the back of my car and sat in the front seat and started crying, screaming and slapping the steering wheel.

That was it for me, done with everybody had no family to go to, well not in this area places like Atlanta and Washington but I had to heart to go to them. I pulled out my phone out of my back pocket and stared at the screen, Justin's name kept popping up and I checked on of the messages, he was out of prison and back home and I remembered that I could go to him and I started the engine and drove out.

As I reached to his house I told the security guard to let me in and I drove up the driveway and took my stuff out of the back of the car and walked up to the door and rang the bell.

Justin opened the door and I bursted into tears, Justin grabbed me into his arms and held me tight, "What happened babe" he asked worried "I have no where else to go" I cried out, he took my suitcase and pulled me in with his hand around my waist and closed the door and walked me into the kitchen.

"What happened Sapph, Are you okay?. Justin asked, "My mom and I h-had an argument and I walked out and now I can't go back" I sniffed "She hates me for what I did, that's why I was in jail with you earlier and I possibly made my dad loose his job and I can't see Rhemi or the others, I'm just stuck with that now and I knew I could come to you" I exclaimed "Yeah, yeah of course no worries you can stay with me, aw come here" he replied and I got out of my seat and went over to him, he pulled me onto his lap but I sat on him with my legs at both of his sides, he kissed me, I laid on his shoulder and he held me tightly.

I felt happy, that all my worries were gone and forgotten but they were always in the back of my head but here right now with Justin erased them all away from me.
