I finally had a chance to use the Ouija Board, as my friend was back over at my house. We both sat down, and before we started, we held hands and said that no evil spirits would enter the house. We then started the session. I asked a couple times if anybody was there, or if anybody was willing to talk to us, and we got no response. Then my friend asked who their name was. This sort of got on my nerves because only one person should speak, and we didn't even know if someone was here. But I let it slide. Then, the planchette moved.
"V" it said. Me and my friend tried a couple of guesses at names that started with V, but it said no to all of them. So I asked if it was a boy or a girl. It either landed on F or G. I can't quite remember, but we know that it was female. I then asked it "What shall we call you?"
"7" it replied. I made a mental note of this, in case I would need to address it later at some point. I then asked it "Are you in a good mood?" to know how we should proceed. It moved to yes, so I decided things were okay in the meantime. I then asked it if it wanted to harm us.
The planchette didn't move. I began to feel uncomfortable as I waited for it to answer. It didn't. Instead, it slid to the bottom right side of the board. A corner of the planchette even fell off. I put it back on, as it started to move again. It stopped at the letter A. I was baffled, and didn't know what to make of this. My friend then reminded me of something.
"Is it trying to break out? Since it might've gone to z, and then to a." That's not the correct order, but now I've realized something.
I mentioned that to her before we started the session.
How do I know that it stops listening after I say goodbye?
Anyway, I tried to be as brave as possible, and asked it "Are you trying to break out of the board?"
"Yes."
"Goodbye," I said, since I knew this was how you ended the game. The planchette didn't move. "Goodbye," I repeated. No movement. I moved the planchette to goodbye, since that was what to do it if the spirit refused to say goodbye. I told my friend this, so that she would know I moved it. I then began packing up the box. My friend asked me a couple questions, such as "is a spirit trapped in the Ouija Board?" Which, no, it isn't.
I closed up the box and left it in the attic. It might have been slightly unnerving for me, but I still want to go back up there and try it out again. But, of course, who knows who, or what you might contact.
