Cleventine watched as her twin buried her knuckles into her long red locks in frustration. She shook with anger and Cleventine stood by her side anticipating a hurricane. It was another one of those spontaneous times where her mother decides to move forcing Daphne, not Cleventine, to bid goodbye to her friends. This time it wasn't any friend; it was her boyfriend. Daphne tried to hold back her tears heaving and dripping salt down her cheeks.
"I fucking hate her," She whispered. She shivered then began to sob furiously.
"Daph, it's okay -"
"No, Cleventine. No it's not! You wouldn't know what it's like because you're a fucking nobody! Nobody notices you enough to actually miss you or for you to miss them! So stop trying to say you know when you freaking don't!" Daphne bellowed. Cleventine stood there gaining a battle wound to add to her large collection. Daphne was correct. Cleventine was anti-social.
"You're right. I wouldn't know." She muttered as she walked away from her heartbroken sister.
..
Her mother smiled in the car and sung along to the radio trying to get Daphne to crack a smile. Daphne remained quiet, listening to her favorite songs via her phone in the back seat of their SUV. Cleventine didn't blame her. She didn't a hold a grudge against her sister because of the hurtful words she spoke but Cleventine decided she was simply going to prove her wrong.
When they got to their new home, a house a few blocks from a never-ending deep blue ocean, Cleventine smiled and Daphne's upper lip quirked in intrest. Cleventine then knew it would be a different year.
