Annie's POV:

After what happened that other day, Hayden started hanging out with me more often than usual.  I dont really know what changed his mind and his sudden actions towards me but it really helped me that I feel more safe with him and he makes me feel like i'm not alone anymore.  That I have him, but i'm not also sure if he's just doing this for me because he cares for me or just doing this because he feels pity.  I dont know, I don't really want to think about it too much but i'm still thankful to know that he's here for me through thick and thin lines.

Five light knocks was suddenly heard from the door.  I turned the book page to another one and said "Come In!" without bothering to take my eyes off my book.

The door swings open and a figure comes in with something on it's hands.  The door closes behind and he comes closer to me until the weight of the bed beside me drops down.  "Hey, I've got some cookies with me for you to try.  Mom Tisha told me to bring it up here for you" he rests the plate with cookies between us and lay himself on the bed comfortably.

I took off my eyes from the book and took a cookie from the plate.  "Thanks" I thanked Hayden, he peeks an eye open with a smile for saying you're welcome and close them again, arms behind his head.  I stare at a moment for too long and cleared my throat before deciding to continue reading.

"Besides bringing cookies for me, what else did you come here for?" I ask him since he had no signs to move but to stay comfy on my bed.

I watch him move from the corner of my eyes until his hands were below his chin, facing me.  "Wanted to see the sunshine" he says in a low voice, making me feel heat creeping onto my neck.

"And why sunshine?  I'm pretty sure you opened your own curtains in your room," I played dumbly with a smile.

"But didn't get to see the sunshine in our guest room" he said.

I took large intake of breath before placing the book to my side bed.  If it wasn't Hayden being inside my room playing his cocky self, I would've been able to finish a chapter by now.

"Well the sunshine isn't visible from the bed.  Why don't you go to the window and see the sunshine you're looking for" I recommended.

I watch as his lips turn into a full smirk at the edge of it and felt him getting closer to me.  Memories came back from the day when his hands went around my waist, bringing me closer to his body as his lips began moving in sync with mine.  That– That day was a mistake, yet a part of me beg for more.  I keep on telling myself every single day whenever that event plays on my mind to stop thinking about it, for I am still young for everything and still have a long way to go.

"You don't exactly know about that, dont you?" he hotly asked me.

I removed my gaze from his eyes and found myself blushing crazy, feeling the drumming beats of my heart, and hearing the inside of my mind screaming to get away from him.  But the way he's acting right now, the way he's talking and treating me; I don't seem to move, nor could get myself to look at him in the eyes.

"What's wrong Annie?" he ask me.  I looked around the room, trying to get myself together without making myself to turn into a tomato.  He began to get close to me and start to lean forward as his hands are either both on my sides.  "Am I bothering you?" he whispers, but made sure that I heard much.

My eyes closed together in a way to get the thought away of him being closer to me than before, inhaling a sharp breath before saying.  "Hayden, stop"

"Aww...  Why, Annie?" he showed a smirk of his own and start coming closer, feeling his warm breath on the tip of my nose.  "Why should I... stop?" he whispered the last part, looking down to my lips.

"Hayden, please.  I don–" he placed his fingers on my lips to keep me from talking but something just doesn't feel right.  It feels like something is wrong going on between us.

I cant do this anymore... My hands gripped the bed sheets, trying to get myself not to do anything stupid that I would regret in the future.

"Annie, I–" he was about to lean forward to meet my lips but I pushed him away with much force as possible that made him stumble to the ground and grunt in pain.

"I- I'm sorry, Hayden." I ran towards him, regreting the decision of pushing him with that much force.  But if I didn't push him, th-that moment would happen once again.

I was about to help him to get up but he held his hand up, indicating me to stop.  "Hayden, are you alright~?" he interrupted to what I was about to say.

"I-I'm going out now" He stood up quickly, as if nothing happened and started walking towards the door without looking back towards me.  But I still could see the tiny limp that he's having and the stiffened pace that he has, if you wouldn't look closely, you would think that he's alright.  A frown began to form on my face and think back to everything that happened.

Oh dear...  I hope he's alright, it was a bad move to go for.  I pushed him with too much power.

I sigh loudly and began to pack my bags.
