Annie's POV:

"Hey mom!  I was just calling you to know how y'all are" I said through the phone.  It has been a week since I have been staying with the Summerall's, yet my parents aren't giving me calls to when they would come back home.

Shouldn't they be on the plane by now?  But why did they pick up the phone if they don't allow people to use their phones inside the plane?

"Hey Annie!  We're fine, everything's alright.  How are you there?  Any interesting happening with the Summerall?" By the sound of my moms loud voice and the crowded background noises.  It already answers my question, they aren't leaving today.

I let out a long-audible sigh and stopped from packing my things into my luggage.  "Yeah, i'm doing great.  When are you guys coming back?" I asked, getting straight to the point.

I hear my mom stop from whatever she's doing and sighed.  "Sorry if we haven't been giving you updates honey, but we're definitely sorry that we cant come today"

Yeah, as if you give a care in the world about me.

"What about school?" I ask her, trying not to let my emotions get out from their cage.  "School starts on Monday already, in exactly two days.  End of the two weeks off"

"I'm sorry Annie, but Hayleys schedule had been changed to two weeks.  So we might not be there till next week" she said.  I mumbled few things about how people don't even care about me in the world and made sure mom didn't hear me.

Another week with the Summerall?  Very majestic! Note my sarcasm.

It's like all those wishes and dreams that I had been thinking came true but once they did.  It's as if I never wanted them to come true, I wanted those wishes to be all gone.

"Fine.  What happens with my school at least?  All of my school supplies are at the house" I reminded her, she doesn't say anything for now as if she's thinking.

I waited for her to say something until she spoke after a minute of silence "The spare keys are at the bottom of the pot in the backyard.  And i'll talk to their parents if you could still stay there for another week"

"Mom!  I cant stay here for another week"

"I thought it has been your dream"

True it has but I have no idea what changed my mind.

"Mom, If you have spare keys hidden at the backyard, why cant I just stay at home instead of staying here at their mansion?"

"You are not staying in that house alone Annie.  Not after what happened to you" she argued.  If she would be here, I might be able to push her down with my glares.

"But i'm perfectly fine mom!  I don't need anyone's guidance.  It's not like someone would give a care to kidnap me"

What?  It's true.  Why would they even bother to kidnap me if i've got nothing?

I hear a loud sigh from the other side, along with an alarm.  "Annie, I have to go now.  Fine, you could stay at the house as long as you promise me you'd be safe" she said, sounding defeated.

My eyes lit up and quickly said a good bye to my mom before ending the call.  I started packing my things up and shoved everything that aren't really useful into my smaller luggage.  Really excited to leave this mansion.

After what has been happening in this mansion with the boys, and especially with– Hayden...  I don't think I could stay with them any longer.  I might be a bother to them for all I know.

After packing for what seemed like hours, I finally got done and i'm about to leave the house.

I haven't really told anyone about my plans on leaving right now, but Nancy, the maid they have.  I feel really bad for not giving them updates about my life, but I don't think I could even face Hayden right now.

I let out a huge sigh and started picking some of my bags, ready to leave.  The car keys on my hand are jingling in delight, excited to get my car all started for me to go back home.  Away from this mansion.

As soon as I shut the door close, I saw a figure to my right running towards my direction.  My heart started to thud in fear, fear that it could be one of the brothers of parents.  I took a deep breath as my eyes are close and a knock was heard on the right window.

I felt my fingers interact with the window buttons and I pressed it down, "y-yes?" the shakiness was a bit audible to my ears, just hoping it wasn't for the person who is with me right now.

"Annie.  It's me, no need to worry" the softness of her voice made me let out the breath that I have been holding and faced her, all calm.  "I already told the guards to open up the gates for you without the boys noticing it, nor their parents.  They were curious with my demand but they didn't went against it." Nancy said, sometimes turning her head behind to see if someone is here.

"Thank you so much Nancy, you're such a huge help for me.  I wouldn't be able to get out of here without you." I thanked her with a smile.

She laughed a bit.  "No need to thank me, darling.  I already know how you feel around them" she winks at the end, playfully.

I sighed and stare ahead, recent moments with him had filled my mind.  How is this even happening to me right now?

What sounds like a glass crashing from the kitchen had startled me, making Nancy frown.  "Well...  I better get going now, it seems like the boys are causing trouble again.  Bye Annie! Have a safe trip, and sorry for how that boy behaved these few days" she waved her hands for a good bye before leaving.

Finally going back home...
