miss understanding

Prologe

She sat at the table, seven years old, listening to her mom rant on and on about how boys can persuade young girls to have intercourse with them.

"It's ok mom, I'm only seven. It'll never happen, I promise."

"Scarlet, you must still be careful."

"Ok, ok mommy. Can I go to my room now please? I have homework to do."

"Ok, honey. Goodnight."

"Goodnight mommy."

She walked up to her room and started reading Eragon.

She loved getting lost in the fantasy worlds of her books. Eragon was her favourite book by far. Her second favourite book was Percy Jackson and the Olympians- The Last Olympian.

She read and read until she finished her book. She wrote her ten page essay in a matter of minutes.

She walked into her classroom the next day, and when Mrs.Terra collected the papers, she comented on how well done Scarlets was.

"Thank you, Mrs.Terra. I worked really hard to finish it." Scarlet told the teacher.

The present:

My name is Scarlet-Amy-Marie Jessa Kyla Hook. I am fifteen years old. My nickname is Scar. I have black hair with an electric blue streak in the front. My hair is naturally curly but I always straiten my hair. Most of my friends are guys, including my bestfriend Josh. I'm very active and love the outdoors. My favourite place to be is on the football field. I play football, hockey and rugby. I am a wrestler, a gymnist and a highland dancer. My favourite colours are black, red, blue, yellow, green, orange and grey. Most of my clothes are black, red and grey.My parents are devorced and I fight with my mother very often. My father has a new wife named Samantha (Sammy). I would live with my father, but he lives in Sussex, New Brunswick. I live in Okanagan Falls, British Columbia. My best friends are Josh, Anna, Casey (Case), Riley, Nick, Samuel (Sam) and Jared. My other friends and teamates are Jordan (Jor), Todd, Tia, Kenndy, Morey (More), Zac Logan (Log) and Johnny (John). Josh's mother, Marry, practically raises me. She pays for my schooling and extracurricular activities.

I have an older sister named Caitlynn, five little brothers named Jake, Dakota, Andrew (Drew), Tristan and Reece, and six little sisters named Emily (Em), Sydney (Syd), Tiana, Kate, Skyler (Sky) and Taylor (Tay). Caitlynn is 18, Jake is 14, Dakota and Em are 13, Drew is 12, Syd is 11, Tiana and Kate are 10, Tristan and Reece are 9, Sky is 8 and Tay is 5. Caitlynn, Jake, Drew, Reece, Tiana, Kate, Sky and Tay all live with my dad and Sammy. Dakota, Tristan, Em, Syd and sometimes myself, live with our mother.

Syd, Kate and Em are all gymnists, Tiana, Sky and Tay are all highland dancers, Dakota and Tristan play hockey, Drew plays football, Reece plays rugby, and Jake is a wrestler.
