Regina and I decided that we wanted a small wedding. It took a long time to plan because we had two different preferences. She wanted a big wedding with lots of flowers and a huge buffet but I wanted a small wedding of just family and close friends with a nice reception at Grannies diner. We had a board out to keep organized. We had two of the perfect wedding dresses but kept them secret. We also had every single little detail planned. Flowers, food, makeup, invite cards, flower girls, everything you could imagine at a wedding.
"I love you, Emma!" Regina said to me. It was the first time she said that to me since all those months ago when she confessed her love for me. I still remember every detail of her standing there staring at me admitting all this stuff. Regina was always my first choice but I didn't know how she felt about me. When I met Hook, I loved him too but chose what my parents would approve of most. They both have changed over time. "I love you too." I said back smiling. I loved her with all my heart. If she ever left me, I would still love her.
We still had a few more people to invite but we could do that later. We had a few more important things to get to. We slipped into the bedroom and went to sleep. "Gosh, it feels so good to finally get some sleep." I said.
"Yeah. Just think. In a couple days I won't just be your 'fiancé' I'll be your wife and you'll be mine." The thought of her saying that I'd be her wife made me happy inside. It made me forget all about Hook and the look on his face when I told him about Regina and I. That made me sad. But at least I'll soon be married to the best woman on the planet.
