Sick

Y/n woke up feeling horrible. She was normally energetic and happy, but today she can't even get out of bed.

"Y/n sweety, are you alright?" The soothing voice of her boyfriend Steve meets her ears.

"Yeah, just feeling kinda-" she cut herself off by throwing her hands over her mouth and clumsily running to the bathroom with Steve not far behind.

He gets to the locked door only to hear her losing whatever she had for breakfast.

"Doll can I please call your uncle down here to help you. This is really scaring me." He didn't know what else to do at this point. He didn't want to invade your privacy by breaking down the door (eventhough 99% of him says it's the right thing to do at the moment). So he felt his only option was to call your uncle......

"No Steve! Please, I'm fine." Just then there's a knock on the front door. "I'll be right out of the bathroom, can you please see who that is?"

"Of course doll, I'll see you in a bit."

"How is she?"

"Tony, she's going to kill me when she finds out you're here."

"I'm fine with that, where is she right now?"

"I'm not fine with that, she's going to be furious with me."

"Steve, where is-"

"Hey babe who was at the.....Tony, what the hell are you doing here?!" She turns to face Steve, "Why'd you let him in here!?"

"I'm worried about you doll, you have all these mood swings, you throw up a lot, and you eat the weirdest stuff recently. I didn't know what I was supposed to do. So I called someone who I thought could help." He hung his head slightly in shame, but he didn't regret what he did.

"Wow! Well Capsicle, I already know what's wrong with my niece." Tony says while laughing.

"How is this funny, what's wrong with her?"

Y/n just stood there in silence after what Steve told her. She knew what was wrong, she's known for a month now. She's just been too nervous to tell anyone, especially Steve. How would he react? They aren't even married for crying out loud, what would everyone else think of her. She never told her uncle (Tony) because didn't want to take the chance that'd he blab to even Jarvis.

"I think she should be the one to tell you Cap, I'll leave you two alone." He then turns to Y/n, "Congrats kid." He gives her a soft smile and then left.

"So are you going to tell me? Is it serious? Oh my goodness, you don't have cancer do you?!" At this point Steve was in hysterics. He sat on the couch with his head in his hands stressing about any scenario he came up with.

"Steve" she gently put her hand on his shoulder to calm his nerves, "You know I love you right?"

He gives her a shocked look,"Of course I know that, I love you too. With every part of my being and more, I love you so much Y/n L/n."

At this point, she's tearing up. "Steve I'm pregnant."

His face goes blank and she's worried she'll lose him forever, but then he smiles so hard it looks like his face is about to break.

"SERIOUSLY?!"

She's taken aback, "You're not angry? Or scared?"

"Are you kiddin' me doll, why would I be angry. It is mine isn't it?"

"Well duh Steve."

"Ok then, and yeah, I'm definitely scared. Well more nervous than scared. But I'm willing to go through every single step of this with you. Whether you want to keep it or not is up to you, but I promise I'll be here no matter what."

"I love you so much Steve." You're wrapped in his warm and comfortable embrace.

"I love you too doll, I'll love you forever." He whispers into your hair.
