Chapter 31: I never loved you!

Third POV
A green glow surrounded Mal.
"Mal! What did you do?!" Ben demanded.
"The first potion was to make her love me, forever! The second potion...to make her despise you from the bottom for her heart...forever" Anthony said.
Ben's face drained colour.
Mal's eyes refocused and smiled at Anthony.
Anthony walks up to Mal and hands her a knife.
"Kill him" Anthony said.
Mal smirked as she turned to Ben.
"Gladly" Mal said coldy.

"Mal....Mal...I KNOW this isn't you...It's just a potion...You can beat this!" Ben whispered as he was walking backwards, towards the door.
"You don't even know me..." Mal snarled.
"That's not true! Please remember what we had, please" Ben said.
"Look at you Ben! Where are you now? No friends to help you! Why didn't you bring your friends here? They don't even trust you anymore"" Mal snapped.
"I couldn't...I.." Ben whispered.
Anthony does an evil laugh.
"Didn't you hear me? She now hates you more than anything in the world" Anthony said "She is mine and wants nothing to do with you"
"The perfect plan, brother" Carlos stated.
"I want his last thoughts to be, of how miserable his life has become" Anthony snarled.
Maleficent runs in.
She looks at Anthony with pleading eyes.
"Please stop this! This isn't right" Maleficent pleaded.
Anthony glares at Maleficent, smirking at the mess he has made.

Harriet sat in the jail cell, hearing yelling from above her.
"Ben? CJ? What's going on? Ben sounds like he's in trouble!" Harriet said "Please let me out CJ! What's going on?"
"Oh, that's just brother. He said he plans to kill Ben...Don't worry, it should be over soon" CJ said, making Harriet gasp.
Harriet got up in the cell and put her hands on the bars.
"What?" Harriet asked "Please tell me you're joking"
CJ only laughed.
"CJ? CJ!" Harriet yelled.

Back at the lodge, Ben was almost backed up against the lodge's main doors, Mal pinning him there, smirking.
"I know you can hear me...I know the woman I still love is in there...somewhere..." Ben said slowly "You won't hurt me Mal, I know that, please-"
Mal kicks Ben, forcing Ben out the doors and to the snow covered floor.
"Please! I'll do anything!Just spare him! He's done nothing!-"
Anthony smacks Maleficent, forcing her to the wall, knocking her down.
She groaned.
She's not used to being human yet.
"Don't tell me what I can and cannot do! You're lucky I haven't erased you and the rest of the Isle!" Anthony snapped.
"But you wouldn't...you promised..." Maleficent whispered.
"Quiet!" Anthony snapped smirking.
His plan is finally falling into place and there's nothing anyone can do.

CJ just left the jailed area, which Harriet finally realises she's still in the lodge.
"I need to help Ben! He's in danger!" Harriet yelled.
She looked at the bars and notice where the bar meet the wall was rusty, making her smirk.
She can push these down.
She ran to the wall and took a deep breath.
She ran to the bars and kicked them, dust forming.
The bars were bent, making Harriet smile.
"One more time" Harriet said through her teeth.
She moved back to the wall and ran at the bars, making them break at contact.
Harriet was finally free.
Ignoring the pain in her arm she rammed the bars with, she remembered why she got out.
"Ben! I'm coming!" She yelled, running up the stairs.

Mal has Ben slowly backing up a hill, near a cliff.
"Mal...Listen to me..." Ben whispered "Please"
"Listen to a coward? You always think you know what's best for me..." Mal snapped.
"Ben! Mal! Hold on, I'm coming" Harriet yelled from behind Mal.
"Stop him!" Anthony hissed, hidden in the shadows with Carlos.
"The reason I even talked to you...is because I felt sorry for you! A sad little boy, with no friends you can relate to!" Mal snapped.
Harriet ran up to them, she's so close.
"Halt!" Carlos snapped, standing in front of her.
Carlos clicked his fingers and Harriet froze in place.
"What? I can't move...How is that even possible?!? Carlos doesn't have any powers" Harriet whispered.
She noticed where Mal and Ben were and gasped.
"Mal! Ben!...all no" she said.
Ben is standing on the edge of the cliff now, Mal's knife shining in the light.
"Mal...I will always love you..." Ben whispered "Even if our soulmates messed up...I, I-"
"You...NEVER...Made me happy..." Mal snapped.
"Please...Mal" Ben said.
His heart his hurting.
He knows the cliff is right there.
"The best thing, you could do for me? Is die" Mal snapped.

"You know, I've done all the talking. Your turn. I really don't know that much about you. Tell me something"
"Well, I'm 16. I'm an only child. And I've only ever lived in one place."
"Me, too. That... we have so much in common already."

"Well, it kind of does"
"No, it... Your mother is mistress of evil and I've got the poster parents for goodness. But we're not automatically like them. We get to choose who we're gonna be. And right now, I can look into your eyes and I can tell you're not evil. I can see it"

"Would you like a hot hors d'oeuvre?"
"Yes please. Mhmmm, this is the best thing I ever had"
"So you like it?"
"I more than like it, this is amazing"
"Did I surprise you?"
"Oh yeah you surprised me, this is every single dish Mrs. Pots made for my parents"

"Of course I do, I realise that now"
"Good, because I love you too"

"Shouldn't you be doing work?"
"You're more important...And I knew exactly where you would be"
"You know me too well"
"Mal"
"I miss the Isle okay?"
"No one is stopping you from vis-"
"Ben, Auradon already hates me from letting my mother go and if I go to the Isle, a lot of people will ask questions!"
"Mal...don't think like that"
"It's hard not to"
"We're in this together"

Mal smirked and pushed Ben, making him fall off the cliff.
"BEN!" Harriet yelled as Anthony's laugh echoed in the forest.
All they could hear was a sickening thud on the ground.
