Mikoto Started Living As A Shrine Priestess

What happens during this world's in-between-episodes days are of course mysterious to me. I didn't think that it would be my living hell.

"NO! WRONG! Do it properly, you stupid girl! How can't you do such a simple task?!", Tomoe scolded me for the nth time. I was expecting another hit on my hand when I prepared the tea in the wrong way but instead, he just shrugged.

I should have known things will turn out like this when he suggested that I should start training too as a shrine priestess. He's so strict!

It's a trap!!

"Oh come on, you're teaching me way too fast. I'm just a high school girl from a country somewhere in Southeast Asia that has nothing to do about tea ceremonies! You can't just tell me to brew a tea in a way you want without showing me how and then expected me to have the same ideas like you have on how these are properly done!" I protested when I can't handle it anymore and leered at Tomoe who just stared at me speechless.

There was a moment of silence... and I just realized something...

...so it is true...

"Hey, Tomoe (；￣Д￣) ", I called his attention and he sweat-dropped, fanning himself by his hand fan. "I appreciated how you acknowledge my intelligence...BUT DON'T ASK FOR THE IMPOSSIBLE!!"

Geez, this guy is unbelievable. He becomes gentle to Nanami but he's still ruthless towards me!

"How could I've known?" He defended himself.

Sigh~

"Fine, it can't be helped. So, can we start over again?"

I went back to my proper place and gracefully prepared all the things needed for a simple tea ceremony.

"This time, teach me properly and PLEASE, don't teach Nanami in the future in the same way you did to me earlier," I warned him and I think he agreed.

Our whole afternoon was spent in practicing for the tea ceremony while Onikiri and Kotetsu prepared for a simple feast tonight...and our darling Nanami slept the whole time. It was already dark when she woke up. At that time, everything is already prepared.

I gasped in awe when I saw Nanami's beauty shone brighter with her beautiful kimono and hair accessories specially prepared by Tomoe.

"Ehh? Is there a special occasion? (•ิ_•ิ)? " she asked us in a surprised tone when the shrine spirits led her to her decorated seat for a deity.

"Nanami-sama, this is a celebration for the returning of our deity of Mikage shrine and for formally making Tomoe-dono as your familiar as well as ordaining Mikoto-dono as your shrine priestess", the spirit children politely explained to her and I can imagine, with their bowed head.

I hope that by training my spiritual powers, I'll be able to see them both in the near future.

We started with a tea ceremony and ended with a happy feast mostly because it is Kotetsu and Onikiri who sets the atmosphere and Tomoe didn't said anything to ruin the mood. Though he still snarled at me from time to time, it didn't matter right now and I just let it slide because what's important is to see Nanami's precious smile.
