kenzie woke up and rubbed her eyes. she started to smile as she got up and walked into the bathroom. she looked at her reflection and then all the memories of last night rushed back to her. without even realizing it she was crying. she quickly wiped away her tears. she wanted to be strong. 'he's just a boy, you deserve better' she thought to her self.

the only thing that she was happy about is that it was sunday and she didn't have to see anyone. she was dehydrated from crying last night so she left her bedroom and walked to the kitchen. before she reached the kitchen, she saw the last thing she needed right now.

asher, annie, hayden, lauren and johnny were sitting on my couch and they were all staring at her.

" hey kenz, your friends are here to see you. don't hate me for letting them in, bye love you. if you need me i'll be in my room." maddie said quickly going into her room. kenzie rolled her eyes and she turned to face her friends.

" kenzie what happened at the party? why'd you leave so suddenly? and are you okay?" annie asked me. kenzie was shocked that they didn't know and she looked at johnny who was wearing a hoodie with the hood up and he looking down as he was fidgeting with his fingers.

" you really don't know what happened?" everyone shook their head and johnny looked up and looked at kenzie. it looked like he had been crying. " why don't you tell them? or do you want me too?" johnny felt a tear go down his cheek as kenzie said this.

" kenzie please can we just talk alone?"

" no." she turned to address everyone. " two nights ago. I opened up to johnny and he had helped me through a sad time. he even kissed me. and then he started to say all these things about how he liked this about me and how wonderful i was. then at the party, i was so happy to see him and to hang out with him and i was looking for him and saw him making out with nadia. so to answer your questions that is what happened. and i only went to the party to see johnny because he made me so happy but after i saw him kissing nadia i left because i didn't want to see him. and no im not okay, i feel like someone just threw my hear on the ground and stomped on it."

everyone was speechless and johnny was full on crying.

" you can let yourselves out." kenzie said about to break down in sobs. she ran back to her room and shut the door. she leaned with her back against the door and she started to slide down and she cried.

meanwhile, everyone was yelling at johnny and telling him what a jerk he was. johnny didn't even try to fight back because everything they were saying was true.

" i'm gonna go talk to her." johnny got up and started to walk to kenzie's room when hayden got up and stop him.

" no i got it"

" no hayden please let me go talk to her."

" im her best friend, and i know she wouldn't want to talk to you right now." the curly haired boy walked to kenzie's room and knocked lightly.

kenzie got up from the floor and she was about to open the door. but she didn't want to if it was johnny.

" who is it?" she said as her voice was shaking.

" its me. hayden." she sighed with relief and quickly opened the door. she embraced him into a hug.and sobbed into his chest. hayden rubbed her back and kept on telling her it was going to be okay.

" it hurts so bad."

" i know. but it's going to be alright soon i promise."

" i don't know if it will, this isn't like joey or brandon. and they were actually my boyfriend. johnny isn't my boyfriend and we've only kissed once but when i saw them kissing, it was the worst feeling in the world."

" he was gonna come talk to you but i thought you would appreciate talking to me more."

kenzie laughed lightly. " yeah i do. thanks for always being there for me. but i really just wanna be alone right now."

"okay. text me if you need anything."

" okay i will." hayden left kenzie's room and rejoined the group in the living room.

"so how is she?" johnny asked

" she's fine. she just wants to be alone right npw. so we should all leave." they all nodded and left kenzie's house.
