Have you watch final destination movie?
Where people saved from the death only to die few days later like the death waiting for them no matter what they do to save themselves. That's exactly what happened with Nicolas Valiente.

Today he passed away, somebody shot him five times on the head, his body was found in the river far away from his home. It was always expected to die this way in mafia because he was in the next line to lead the mafia family. He was good target for anyone and now he is gone.

I went to Valiente's mansion again to say my goodbye to Nicolas. I saved him once but I guess I can't always save him. I didn't regret that at least I saved him once. Diana looked so sad and she won't stop crying. Vienna and Marco look so much calm, Rosa crying too while Rafael as always giving people nod and barely smile or even cry.

"You came" Marco's voice from behind me. I went to the balcony to get some fresh air, I don't like sadness that's very overwhelming in the living room.

I didn't turn back, I just keep looking out. I can only see high buildings and some parks from here.

"You saved him once but I guess its useless" he said again making me turned my body to him and I didn't expect him to stand very close to me.

"Why are you so angry about me saved him? He was your family" I said. I don't understand though, Nicolas is his older brother. He seems unaffected by this or he hiding his feeling.

"I am happy he is dead" Marco looking at me in the eye, his eyes showing me that he is telling the truth. "what's wrong with you? First you were happy Nina is dead and now your own brother! How could you?".

He shrugged.

"Bye now" Just like that he left me alone.

Marco is emotionless as ever. I've been wondering why he's been like this. At least he should have show some sadness.

"Are you okay honey?" My mom asked once we both arrived at home. I shook my head.

"I still can't believe he is gone, mom. He was very cheerful, he even called me sister" I said ad a tear rolled down on my cheek.

My mother went to hug me. "It'll be fine, Marco. You must make sure he is okay" My mother said. I rolled my eyes and wiped my tears. She pulled away and looking at me.

"What is it?" She asked.

"Will you believe me that Marco seems fine without his brother?" I asked.

"He has many responsibilities after his brother passed away, what do you expect? It must have been difficult for him".

"He look fine, mom. He even said he is happy" I blurted out.

"Now that Nicolas is gone, Marco will take over the Valiente's family. Vienna is belong to Morelli now so it will be Marco duties to keep their family safe"

"But... Marco is the youngest and .." That when it hits me maybe just maybe Marco is angry because he will take over the mafia family instead of Nicolas. Marco will be more important than before.

"That also means that he will need to get married faster" My mom trailed of trying to read my face.

"What?"

"It's true, a leader should have married before he take over the business. Nicolas married Diana also for their family alliance. Marco might marry someone from British mafia" my mom said.

"but ..."

"If you regret what you said before to Rafael, you can go tell Marco about your feelings" she smiling at me. I know she and Rosa would love if me and Marco end up together.
