I founded myself knocking the door on the Salvatore boarding house, I waited until someone opened the door.

"Katherine" Stefan said slowly reading my outfit.

"Nope" I said popping the P.

"Elena." He said with a strange confusion look. I step inside the big house and looked around, entering here brought me so many memories, such as starting my relation with stefan, running from stefan, loving stefan, wanting to sleep with stefan.

But it didn't matter anymore. I was in love with Damon, I realized that he was the only one that could make me smile in bad moments, the one that made me feel alive, even if being with him,made me question everything that I believed in, And go against it, i have to bend my morals. Because I love him, I finally make my conclusion.

The day before yesterday, I finally confess Stefan what I really felt for his older brother, he didn't accept it. He didn't have to. It's been two days since Stefan and I broke up, as you may guess.

"I didn't expect you to visit so-"

"Soon?" I finish his sentence, he though maybe I was destroyed as he was, I wasn't but seeing him like this broke my heart in million of pieces.

"Yes" He closed the door.

"Have you seen your brother?" I asked him, trying to make eye contact with him. But he just kept staring at the floor.

"Here I am, Whats up with the Katherine look?" I searched the where the voice was coming from, I stare the stairs and found Damon coming down from the sevon floor

"Nothing, I was just preening myself for today"

"Okay, I will be there in the car in just a second" He said

"One" he smile with his winked face, that charming face that could make all the girls fight to death for him, his eyes, oooh his eyes, they were so.

OKAY ELENA STOP, focus on what is going on.

He git in the car and drove us to the grill.

"I needed to talk to you"

"About what?"

"Yesterday, Caroline told me that her mom was working, covering bodies."

"And that matters because...."

"Because they had bites, and some of then had ripped their heads off."

He looked at me with his pale blue eyes. He was trying to find a answer.

"Since when did you two broke up?"

"Damon, I am trying to be serious here." He didn't move just kept looking at me. Waiting for an answer.

"Two Days"

"That just when the attack started"

"Do you think is Stefan?"

"I don't know"

Just then my phone rang, I reached it out of my purse. It was Caroline.

Damon's POV

Just then Blondie called.

"Hey" Elena answered.

I used my Vamp ear to listen to the conversation.

Are you crazy, the fair starts in 2 freaking minutes!

Caroline I am leaving right now, wait.

Are you coming all by yourself?

Yeah why?

You have to bring a partner!

Oh god, I totally forgot.

Seriously Elena?!?!

Okay calm down, I will find myself a partner in my way.

Okay.

She stood up, she was in a hurry.

"Okay lets go"

"Lets?" she answered.

"Yeah, you need a partner, Im here."

She rolled her eyes.

ELENA POV

The fair was boring as hell. Caroline, Bonnie and me were in charge of the security in the games. We also attend the mini games like golf and football. After three girls arrived it was their turn to work and our time to have fun. Okay the rules of the fair was:

1= you start your visit with 10 coins.

2= If you don't walk or enjoy your visit with your +1 you will be caught and you'll get 2 coins taken

3= No fights

4= Wait turn

5= Enjoy!

So I had to probably spend my afternoon with Damon. Walking and playing with him. I wasn't sure about what I felt with this situation, was it gonna be fun? Or extremely awkward? But why would it ever by awkward if he doesn't know what I feel for him.

I went to the fast food zone. I knew that if I wasn't with him they would drag me out of the fair. And they would not accept me in the other fair coming up and Caroline will kill me.

With no other option I texted Damon.

E: Where Are you?

D:Here

E: Where is "here"??

D: In the boarding house

E: WHAT?

D:...

E: COME RIGHT NOW!

D: Are you ok.

E: COME.

After few minutes waiting for him he finally showed up. I was surprised they didn't catch me, I saw security all over the place, and no one caught me. I grabbed my list. This fair was like a rally, we had to complete all the places they told us to go.

I grabbed his hand, he looked at me, surprised, his pale blue eyes showed hope, his stood there, I just stared, I got lost in his stare. I realized what was happening and moved my hand to his wrist, and started walking. I guess this was awkward.

We raided some kind of cars that moved up and down, I almost threw up. He just laughed

"Not funny" I told him while we sat down on the swings.

"Right, it is hilarious."

"No"

"Yes, you couldn't stand a Fair game"

"Im pretty sure you would be like this if you didn't have vampirism" I told him. He just paused the laughing and look to the ground.
