A fountain of soil and stones erupted, the noise deafening me and forcing me backwards. Lawrence continued to bark and growl. If I was thinking straight I would be wondering wether or not there were more.

The explosion felt like it lasted an age but was, in fact , over within the space of a few seconds. All that was left, this side of the park was dust and rubble from the now ex-water feature.

I was hurt but only slightly, Lawrence was whining now and had a fairly deep cut on his leg so I grabbed hold of his collar and started to walk home.

I took the long route home so that I could tell the authorities.

I walked or I suppose you could say I ran into the HQ and tearfully told the head of bomb disposal about the grenade. I also told him that their could be more.

I then made one last stop and the herbal remedies Shop to buy something for Lawrence's leg.
