In Love

*Monse's POV*

It's been about a month or two since we decided to have a fresh start. Gelo and I have actually been really good. We are going strong. We decided to just forget about everything that has happened before and focus on the now and the future. His parents and I get along a lot better now. I'm still pretty cautious around them though. I don't want to fuck it up again.

"You ready?" Gelo asked.
"Yeah lets go," I nodded, grabbing my purse. He put his arm around me and we walked out of my dorm room. I shut the door behind us and we started to walk. "Are you ready?" I giggled, looking up at him.
"I'm always ready," he chuckled.
"Sureee," I giggled, looking at him. We were on our way to one of his basketball games. His parents were coming as well, along with his brothers. We made our way to the arena and went in. "Imma go back and get ready, go sit on the bleachers alright babe?" Gelo looked at me.
"Sounds good," I smiled at him. He gave me a few kisses on my lip and went back to the locker room. I went and sat down in the bleachers and his parents and siblings came not that long after. The game started and we watched Gelo and his team play.

After the game we went to congratulate him and his team. I walked over to him and smiled at him. "Good job!" I smiled big at him.
"Thanks," he smiled down at me. Some girl walked up, she looked familiar but I didn't know who it was. "Good job," she smiled at Gelo.
"Thanks," he shrugged, looking back at me.
"I came to see you play today," she stepped between us. I looked at her and rolled my eyes. "Who do you think you are?" I laughed a little, moving her out of the way.
"Who are you?" she rolled her eyes at me.
"I'm Gelo's girlfriend," I laughed, rolling my eyes back at her.
"That's Izzy," Gelo told me. I laughed and looked her up and down. "That's really what you look like?" I looked at her.
"What's that supposed to mean?" she scoffed.
"Think about it," I took Gelo's hand and walked away from her. I shook my head a little. "You alright babes?" he chuckled.
"Why is she here?" I looked at him.
"I don't know," he chuckled, "She lives in Chino I don't know why she came."
"Okay," I nodded, looking at him.
"Don't worry about her baby," he told me, "I'm yours." I smiled up at him and nodded. I hugged him and he hugged back. His parents came up and we pulled away. "You guys ready to go?" his dad asked.
"Ready," I smiled, nodding.

We went out to eat dinner and then we went back to Gelo's place. We were on spring break. I was staying at his place for a few days then going back to mine. We went up to his room and he changed into something else. "You wanna watch a movie?" he asked.
"Sure," I smiled at him, standing up.
"Oh," he started, "I forgot."
"What?" I looked at him.
"My dad told me the other day that you can come with us when we go on our next vacation," he told me. The last one I didn't go on. His dad said he wasn't comfortable enough for me to come with. I was okay with that. "Really?" I smiled.
"Really," he nodded, "We are going in a month or so to Hawaii."
"We made progress," I smiled.
"I guess we did," he nodded, "We aren't just using each other for something we both wanted."
"No we aren't," I smiled, "Now we are just in love."
