*Monse's POV*

We got on the plan that night and we were on it for a long time. Gelo and I slept pretty much the whole time. Once we landed it felt so cool. We were in like a whole different world. We went into the airport and there was a tonnn of paparazzi there. We got past them and got our bags from baggage. Then we got into a van and it took us to the house they were renting out to stay in. It was so beautiful. The place was huge and had a pool in the back yard and it was on the beach. The yard was huge and had a fire pit as well. We got into our rooms and unpacked everything. "You wanna go chill in the pool?" Gelo asked, smiling.
"Duh," I giggled. He got his swim trunks on and I got my bikini on. We walked downstairs and he told his dad what we were doing. One of the camera men came up. "Can you sign a few papers to be on the show?" he asked me.
"No," LaVar stepped in, "She wont be on the show."
"Oh okay sorry about that," the camera man smiled at me.
"No it's okay," I shook my head, "I had no idea." He nodded and walked away. I looked up at Gelo and he just took me outside. We got into the pool and floated on a few big floaties. "What was that about?" I asked, shrugging.
"I don't know," he shrugged back, "I think he just doesn't think we will be together for awhile so he don't want everyone to see us. I don't know."
"Oh okay," I just shrugged it off. It's fine. I know they don't really like us.

Later that night we were all outside by the fire. Everyone was talking to each other and I was talking to Tina. "So your mom?" she asked. She had been actually trying to get to know me.
"She comes and goes," I nodded, "She comes and acts like the best mom ever like nothing ever happened, like she hasn't been gone for two years or whatever and then leaves without warning and you don't see or hear from her."
"I'm sorry," she told me, putting her hand on my knee.
"It's okay. It's just how I grew up," I nodded, "Used to it by now. I think we all are." She nodded and patted my knee. "You're alright," she told me. I smiled at her and nodded. "Thank you," I smiled, getting one back. Finally. We talked about other things, about when Gelo was a kid and about just happier things. I tried to leave my family out of it as much as I could.

"Will you run inside and grab my hoodie off the bed?" Gelo asked me.
"Yeah," I stood up.
"Wait," LaVar started and I stopped walking, looking at him, "I don't want you inside alone."
"No!" Tina stopped him, "Go." She told me. I stood there, unsure of what to do. "Go with her," LaVar told Gelo.
"She isn't going to take anything dad," Gelo shook his head. I shook my head. "I swear," I nodded, "I wont take a thing."
"I don't trust you," he told me, "Gelo go." Gelo stood up shaking his head. He mouthed 'im sorry' to me. I shrugged and we walked inside. "Ouch," I told Gelo.
"Don't take it personal," he told me as we went up to the room. I put on one of my hoodies I brought and Gelo put is on. We went back downstairs and outside and Tina was in the middle of telling LaVar to leave me alone and to be nicer. I sat down next to her again and smiled. "It's fine Tina," I told her once she finished.
"No," she shook her head, "You're alright."
