Murdoc straightened up his pirate hat before making sure his son October was all set. October was dressed up like a pirate too. Martina was dressed as a parrot. The three headed out into the neighborhood with the best candy. October was happy, he was excited.
When he was younger Murdoc took him trick or treating before. They went as Gomez Addams and Pugsley Addams.
October held his father's hand tightly as he watched the other children run house to house, dressed as princesses, demons, zombies, and much more. "Daddy." October said as he pointed a house that was well decorated. Murdoc walked his son up to the front door. "Say trick or treat and thank you when you're done Captain!" Murdoc told his son. Martina was sleeping in the passed down baby carrier.
Murdoc rang the doorbell for his son. "Tick o' treat!" October said. "Well look at the little pirate and aw, a baby parrot," the old woman said as she opened the door. "Take as much as you want handsome," she said. "Tank 'oo." October told her while waving goodbye. "You're very welcome!"
The next house was too scary for October but Murdoc urged him on. On the porch there was a bowl of candy and a sign that begged children to take 2. Next to it was a Micheal Myers prop. October was petrified. Murdoc grabbed a snickers and jolly rancher for his son before dragging him away from the house.
After trick or treating for at least 2 hours October was ready to go. Murdoc was happy his son was ready to leave because he was exhausted. The three headed back home where they were greeted by Ace, Russel, Noodle, and Stuart. Russel's 4 year old daughter ran to October and nearly knocked him over. "Be careful Britney. He is not a toy." Russel told his daughter who was dressed as Cinderella.
The kids played together and watched Halloween movies suitable for children. The house was a bit cramped now since it was small. The adults were in the kitchen talking about serious matters. Mostly Murdoc wanting a bigger house. When everyone left and Murdoc fell asleep with Martina on his chest, October had a nightmare about the Micheal Myers prop.
